Sequenced key solo? Again something supremely white chick about the whole thing... I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this but I found her through the KORG website and figured I'd check it out..

@iamthesaxmaster the solo you think she's trying to fake is being played by the keybord guy at the background, she's using a microKORG vocoder and synthesizer to put the background effects, so yes, she's actually playing the keyboard but not the solo. That microKorg sends effects and midi signals it may start sequences and many other things.
nahhhhhh....not really digging her jazz sound, and she's over blowing, i'v been playing sax for over 10 yrs....she needs to have a monitor so she doesn't have to blow so hard to hear herself.
(oh, and i'm pretty sure she's faking the keyboard thingy)
I love sax, and I love jazz, but not this. Mindi has such a screechy, unrefined sound. Check out the female sax players video that is posted. Those artists are by far superior to Mindi.
It's truly unreal how great artists like Mindi will always be overlooked due to what is deemed popular music. The problem is that not enough people are subjected to music like this. In my area of upstate NY, our local jazz station was taken off the air. It was replaced by a top 40 station. I always found amazing music on that station and was very disappointed by its demise. All hail the truly talented musicians of the world!

I checked out Ms Abair in Cleveland with Dave Koz and Rick Braun. She TRULY stole the show. Her energy in performance is as good as her chops.
