There are hundreds of charities that help various causes. Why waste time on one that lies? The salvation Army donates 93% of funds collected to the needy - why should I give to a charity that give 30% to a cause? And that 30% goes to the military of a foreign country NOT directly to the kids. 6 mill went into their pockets.

US soldiers were already on the ground b4 this video came out - and they did a raid / bombing in 2008. 2010 US congress passed the LRA bill. Last december they approved more funding in the congress and senate. If you wanna throw you money away on this scam you're free to do so but at least read some info.

@dothedeed I wouldn't doubt that, the "Kony 2012" video is so hyped and just looks like a money crop. But nonetheless, it's good that the video raised awareness. All I'm saying is that I hope at least one person continues to find out solutions to the problem and not dismiss this by the weekend is over. But we need to focus on other countries as well, because Uganda isn't the only one with these problems. I already turned my focus away from Kony, because just watching the video seems to be hype.

There are hundreds of charities that help various causes. Why waste time on one that lies? The salvation Army donates 93% of funds collected to the needy - why should I give to a charity that give 30% to a cause? And that 30% goes to the military of a foreign country NOT directly to the kids. 6 mill went into their pockets.
