  • Love these tutorials, thanks so much :)

  • I took the english braid style in a single braid and wrapped the access hair around the ponty tail holder to hide it pinned underneath.Took the folding and pinning of the masara and came up with an interesting elegant look ty torrin I love your tutorials they give me lots of ideas!!!!!!!!

  • I'm always off topic. Did you make that top? It looks like something easy enough to make. I mean, just elastic and lace, right? Love it. Thanks for teaching to rope braid, btw. I used to plait the fibers of palm fronds to make cordage, but the rope braid (and its successor, the cable) is tighter and stronger. Hair, palm fronds, all the same when making animal traps.

  • @momlovestosing It's actually a sundress and , yes, I made it. It's a yard of that material that's sewn with elastic thread up top then just a pretty print all the way to the bottom. One seam up the back a ta-dah! a dress. I simply sewed some ribbon on for straps and that was that. I have since graduated to patterns, but these types of dresses are so easy and comfy, I'll probably be on the hunt for more pretty patterned material like this at some point.

  • 1:09 You look so adorable when you fluff your pigtails forward! :D

  • thank you so much your hair tutorials are fantastic. I have long hair about as long as yours and you are the first person i have found that does styles for really long hair!! thanks again you are great keep up the good work x x

  • You not too old for pigtails, they look adorable on you. I often were my hair in pigtails even if my husband calls me Pippi Longstockings.

  • That first braid looks like what i've always imagined a unicorn horn to look like. It's even the right golden color!

  • lol I always enjoy your tutorials, so glad I found you! it's a great way to start the morning and then walk out the door with a spiffy new hairstyle :D Keep up the good work!

p.s. I love wearing pigtails too, being a face painter I can get away with it hehe

  • i like the buns !! they look sooo cute

  • happy to see your comment and ive would of said the same thing, and again in my book your the best love those styles p.s. love those pig tails hihihi

  • Hi Torrin i must disagree with you, their is no age for pig tail or ladies with long hair. But one thing you have the most beautiful hair and the way you style and explain bravo your the BEST xx john long hair fan

  • Oh, I didn't say that I thought there was an age for pigtails...just that I get comments from random people that I'm "too old" for them. Like I told Nina, I'm old enough to tell them to take their opinion and stick it somewhere that isn't necessarily comfortable. :oP I, myself, love pigtails and wear them when I'm in the mood.

  • i really like the look of that english braid..i might do that more often from now on

coz my long hair is often kept up in a braid, and tht look awesome...i think i might do it now :D

thanks for the tutorials as always, theyre always awesome, its why i subscribed to youu inn the fiirst place rofl :D

    *hugs*

  • that hairstyle looks cute.i love those hair chop sticks or whatever they are called.they look like pretty old fashioned hat pins.

  • Thanks for coming back with the buns! They're adorable! You are really amazing, Torrin! I don't know how you even THINK of how to duplicate an illustration...I wouldn't know where to begin! The rope braid with the thin piece and the thicker piece is really attractive, by the way. Thanks again for yet another amazing demonstration!

  • Wow! The girl in the picture must have really long hair because it looks bunned at the top with hip long rope braids. Beautiful saris as well.

I saw a really beautiful crown braid online at pandora's locks that ends in a spiral. It's a cowned french braid. Can you show us how to do it? Thank you. Your videos rock.

  • Oh wow - thanks a lot!

    I love 'em both :)

  • I always love your videos, you seem very knowledgable, personable, friendly, and kind. :) And as always, awesome hair!

  • I just love love love your hair!!!

And your tutorials are great - you explain everything so well, so thank you! :-)

  • Hi! Love your friendly videos! You look adorable in pigtails!! I wear them almost everyday and it's because it's super humid here this time of year and windy (today)...bad combo for wild hair. LOL

On the 16th, I'm going to do one of those styles you shared before on Michaela's hair because she's going to an Awards banquet. :0)

  • Oh I'm so excited..send me links to pics please? Pretty please? I also tend to wear my hair in pigtails from time to time, even though I'm "too" old. I'm old enough to tell haters that they can lump it. :o) Give congrats to Michaela for me! She's such a special girl. Both of your girls are.

  • You'll be the first on youtube to see the pics, I promise!!!!

Although my hair isn't nearly as long as yours, with my hair in pigtails, it sends a statement; pigtails and sunglasses...too cute! lol ;)

Thank you!!! Have a great evening!! :0) Nina
