The 'molten steel' story is one of the biggest red herrings of the 9/11 narrative. Slurry from thermite behaves in exactly the same way as any other substance once the reaction is complete - it cools to the same temperature as its surroundings. If these 'molten metal' tales are true, then the reason why it remained in that state for so long has nothing to do with pyrotechnics, and everything to do with something else. Pure bunkum.

You don't need physics, just logic: the slurry from thermite does not remain molten for weeks, so whatever it was that caused the heat retention, it COULD NOT have been thermite.

Thermite may have caused the metal to become molten in the first place, but that has not been proven. No matter which way you look at it, this alleged phenomenon does not prove the use of pyrotechnic cutting compounds.

i do belive this is a cover up ok planes hit but there is a tower block near my flat where the undergound gas boliers for the how tower was. IT blow the ground so high it hit the tops of peoples houses and could be herd for miles around and felt but that building never fell so y would a building designed to take the heat and a plane hitting it fall. The Conspiracy theorist say that the molten metal doesnt make sense...but they never try to explain how thermite or bombs would cause this..because they have no idea how it would....so its a mute point. There was jet fuel in the buildings and fires buring at the time of collapse....those fires continued to burn under the pile for weeks and weeks. And the bright orange metal you see them picking up is supposidly alluminum...Much of the outside of the building was aluminum as was the aircrafts.

while that maybe true, combusted jet fuel will only reach temperatures of MAXIMUM 1800F.

Insulation as the debris can only on average keep temperatures for about 3 days (after 3 days being cool to the touch), not 5 days.

There was never any molten steel, just weakened steel. No one ever tells you, yeah steel melts at 2750, but it becomes weak at almost half that temp. How do you think metal is bent and shaped?

Any molten metal was aluminum, since there was tons of aluminum present. Tons of other metals were also present.

Also to say temperatures couldn't of risen above 2750 when the building were collapsing is a opinion. No one knows how hot it got as the pressure rose and rose.

Actually "steam" is created by heating water to 212 (F) degrees and then it cools! Also the airplane fuel was burned off in a fireball when it hit the WTC Towers and the heat from ignited jet fuel can't melt metal girders!

To summerize: Steam can't melt metal and steam doesn't deliver oxygen to a fire! The jet fuel was burned off on impact and so couldn't leak into the WTC basements.Next theory?

That's true. Temperatures within the debris pile itself continued to reach temperatures over 1000 degrees.

They now know that pouring all of the water into the debris pile actually kept the fires burning longer due to the steam that was created. They were actually dumping oxygen into the fire and spreading the fuel.

(That's why aircraft carriers use foam for fuel and ordinance fires and not water)
