Decals applied to a bike does not make it special! Sheets of decals and a scalpel is not what you can call 'craftsmanship' either! Check out the incredible lug work on a Hetchins, that's real craftsmanship...
I paint bikes for GURU custom bikes. We apply masking decals in much the same way. what you must understand is this frame has a coat of primer, then sealer and then paint. you would have to press very hard to make your way down to the carbon and even then, carbon isn't as delicate as many think. Also, professional painters are able to cut decals without cutting deeper or even cutting the surface paint. . These blades are very sharp and do not need much pressure to cut a thin piece of vinyl.
loooks sick

Will the decals eventually de-laminate after prolonged exposure to the sun?

This bike is tatted up like one of Dennis Rodman's arms. It's still a slick bike though!

There is no art in this. Decaling.

thats about as far as the uci would let you change a bike these days
dont think a Hetchins with customised lugs and tube set would be allowed to race these days

Wouldn't the knife damage the frame? It's carbon, that could easily be sliced.

A bit too much if you ask me...
I don't like the amount of details, makes the bike look cheap.
