I suppose they were 'one hit wonders' but they were unpopular. I remember everywhere I went at about 15 and hearing about alien ant farm....both because of this song and others. I suppose if you were a MTV kind of person when it came out you would think they weren't that big BUT coming from the underground scene of metal and punk....well they were pretty big there and never sold out....unlike so many bands of today. They played what they wanted and if that didn't get them in the top 40 oh well
