PC's do more...much more. However consoles can be played from the comfort of your sofa. ATM Xbox is as good as PS3, not due to POSSIBLE specs, but what specs developers actually use.

PS3 - Yes, it's better than the Xbox performance-wise. However (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't actually own one), as far as I know it doesn't have built in WI-FI, and online is laggy as shit (so I've been told numerous times)

They are both built at 90nm, and both are clocked at 3.2GHz. However, no game engine currently uses more than the 3 SPE cores available (NONE. Don't argue it). Currently, developers are struggling too much on getting engines to use more than the 3 available SPE cores.

Second: I get what you're saying. However, I built my PC when I was 15, and have been gaming on it since. I care about the the overall looks of the game AND performance. However, console-players are worse for this.
Third: PC gaming can't compete because it's not for everything? Think about what you said. PC gaming supports everything that console gaming does- and more. SDKs are available to make maps for these things on a much higher-end degree. Also, do you think your Console can do everything our PCs can...?

They are both built at 90nm, and both are clocked at 3.2GHz. However, no game engine currently uses more than the 3 SPE cores available (NONE. Don't argue it). Currently, developers are struggling too much on getting engines to use more than the 3 available SPE cores.

first: just half life is a good series in your list.
second: racing simulators and fps; those are fun for kids. Think about it: those aren't so... deep. People accuse this gen to care to much about the graphic. But Pcist are the worst.
third: PC still can't compete with console. Because it's not for everything.
You need lots of money and lots of patience and time to set up it .
I'm sorry but pc gaming is a job, not a fun.

First: Half life was out before any of the games you have probably played seriously, and sold more copies than Halo did. Counter Strike is still played, while Halo 1 and 2 are not. Crysis came out on the PC, and could NOT be run on Consoles. Why? They weren't able to.
Second: I get what you're saying. However, I built my PC when I was 15, and have been gaming on it since. I care about the the overall looks of the game AND performance. However, console-players are worse for this.

Third: PC gaming can't compete because it's not for everything? Think about what you said. PC gaming supports everything that console gaming does- and more. SDKs are available to make maps for these things on a much higher-end degree. Also, do you think your Console can do everything our PCs can...?
Set up it... hah', that's some nice grammar you have. PC gaming is for serious gamers; FPS is more accurate, drivers are easier to play (3-screens ftw?), and overall better.

Anyway I've never talked about Halo. Why did you quote it in the speech?
Pc gaming is for casual who cares only on performances.
Simulative fps like operation flashpoint are also on consoles.
The best drive simulator EVER is on PS3.
And the line-up of each console is more complete than pc's one.
Who plays on the pc is more interested in programming and similar stuff than in videgaming.
Who really loves VG plays on consoles. True story.

Yes but gamer who loves videogaming play every kind of game.
On PC I always talk to people who says "PC gamign the BEST!!!1!!! OMG!1!! 'Cause there is graphic powah!!!"
