They inducted Michaels as soon as he retired, they inducted Eddie within the same 12 months that he passed. It makes sense to do so while they are still fresh in the fans minds. But all those numbers you quoted isn't what made Edge great or made him better than past wrestlers, there are more title changes now than in the past.

Im not too bothered about Edge's retirement. Lord knows how many more runs this guy would have got with the belt.
