My wife check this guys website out where all he does is remodel campers, and he said to lightly sand the vinyl, prime it with the oil base, and finish with whatever. It has held up really well so far.@8digitPDX
@americanfamilynow Check my video on paint options for survival retreats and campers. I discovered polyurethane floor paint and am in the process of redoing my camper interior with it. The stuff is super durable, intended to be walked on.
You use the latex as a primer then use the oil base as an outer coat and it would probably work.
