To hear Megyn Kelly talk about a stellar history regarding fraud is the ultimate in hypocrisy. She works for Fox Entertainment, a channel that went to court in order to be granted the ability to lie to their viewers. How can anyone who works there defend that?

There were NO changes made between 2000 and 2010 in the way the Census is being conducted. Bachmann just wants to get her publicity in any manner she can.

Amendments 9 & 10 of the Constitution basically point out that the Constitution is a list of what the Federal Government is permitted to do with all else forbidden to it. This means that the Census as described in the Constitution is authorized but whatever else they have come up with is not authorized, making it a State power and not a federal power. Any laws to the contrary of the Constitution are illegal and unconstitutional.

Those of us who know Ms. Bachmann at a more personal level are wary of any advice she offers. She is unable to evaluate reality or distinguish fact from fantasy (like the fantasy she was attacked by gays in a public bathroom in 2005). As to the Census, if you object to having your taxes returned to your community, the only information the Census required in the past was to confirm your address & the # of persons residing there. (I've been a Census worker past 3 decennial enumerations.)

NO NO NO NO ACORN does not work for the US Census Bureau, will not hire enumerators on behalf of the Census Bureau, and will not be going door-to-door for the Census Bureau. Aaargh! Media fear-mongering at its best!

You guys realize that ACORN is not going to administer the census at all, right? All they are doing is partnering. There are about 30000 other groups also partnering with the Census. Now, what does this mean? That they help count it? No. Acorn will simply be promoting the census. Printing fliers and such saying stupid slogans like "be sure to fill out the census!", "be counted!", "I met my wife twenty years ago, while filling out the Census!"

All of the questions on both the Census and ACS forms are legislatively, programmatically, or federally required -- all determined by those in Congress.

As said earlier, these questionnaies have become unbelievably INTRUSIVE. AS IF "Congress" has any RIGHT to demand such intrusive info from U.S. citizens! NOBODY has the right to ask "What time do you leave for work?", etc. etc. etc. Don't act surprised or hoity-toity when people do NOT want to cooperate with such intrusive crap. Wake up, America.

Why should I worry or become offended if asked by my government for information that, WHEN AGGREGATED, is used in ways that benefit my community, city, state, and country? These questions are not ABOUT YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL. They are used to provide information to improve our COLLECTIVE lives. Answering the Census is a civic duty.

I don't care if the government knows my race, income, how long of a commute I have, or how many toilets are in my house. You all want your roads, your rights protected, poverty eliminated, jobs created, etc. etc. and get very upset if you don't get your share -- but you don't want to provde the information that is used to make sure those programs are properly administered? It is NOT necessary for Govt. to pry deeply into our daily lives & routines in order to provide decent roads or other essential svcs.
