@MarthaH605 That would be nice. But I'm from the Netherlands, so I guess it's gonna be pretty hard to find a (church) choir that sings The Traveler. But I can sing it solo at home of course, which I do, despite my poor singing voice (8
@1121VX Well, there's no singing in the Netherlands, but there is in England. Check fasola.org under the singings link. And on the weekend of March 5, Ireland is having its first singing convention--two whole days of singing, plus a singing school to teach you how to do it. Check out music.ucc.ie/shapenote/convention.html. There will be people there from Poland, the U.S., the U.K., and Ireland, of course.
You can find the soundtrack to the movie on iTunesstore, it includes the hymns performed traditional as well as in "modern" arrangements by various artists.
Love it. Thanks.

This is really sensational and the lyrics are so beautiful.
Traveler haste the night comes on!
Many a shining hour is gone.
A storm is gathering in the west,
and you are so far from home!
Far from home thy footsteps stray,
Christ the Life and Christ the Way,
Christ the Light yon setting sun!
Ere the noon has scarce begun.
You can play that one at my funeral!

What a brilliant song!
It's my favourite on the CD 'Awake, My Soul'.

@1121VX It's from the book, "The Sacred Harp." #108. You can go to a singing anywhere and sing it yourself--with others, of course.
