@DemihumanGosu He doesn't walk forward though. My bad on that. He only holds back. The second 270 is quick straight to U (otherwise it would take way too long). You don't see him going crouching from the backwards animation, because he enters block animation from the whiffed jumping move that Litchi did. So Tager stood in standing block animation during the DB D DF F of the second 270.

@DxClow I've done it ONCE out of the millions of times I've tried, and it basically involves pushing your muscles to 500% to get them to move that fast. Ironically, I lost the match even after the standing 720 just because I hurt myself ;_;

I think technically it's something like the first 360 super-jump canceling into another 360, but I'm just pulling that out of my ass...

@DxClow Its very difficult, but it is possible. You have to start in a certain direction first, and spin the stick INCREDIBLY fast. Also, Coopa uses an octagon gate with his stick, which helps withs 360's and 720's comparatively to square gates.

Every time Coopa 720's, his stick sounds like a machine gun because his joystick hits every side of the gate so fast haha..

@DxClow Well, the correct way to do it is to do one 360 starting from back rolling to 7, during your 6 frames of jump you roll down to 2, input 2D, finish up at 7 or 8 and kara cancel into 720. If I recall correctly.

@pwnzjoo1 ACTUALLY one of my friends at school that play bb pointed this out... In the GTA there are people in richmond green secondary that play this game. He was really sharp on this, many people dont even notice but during his "standing 720" he got a small amount of guard frames to buffer the first 360. Look closely at the replay. Litchi whiffs a j.9b i believe... which puts tager in some guard frames because it was so close to hitting him. I think Coopa was churnin the butter :o

@DxClow The block stun was too far away from the 720. Not even close to enough to be churning the butter and get it. He may have gotten a buffer of the first half of his 720 in the guard stun, and believe me, I've rewatched it enough to have seen it. If YOU watch carefully, he is out of blockstun for at least a full second, or 60+ frames. Can't just churn that out, it was pure skill.

But yeah, whether or not he did the fancy "jump install 2D kara 720" is totally up in the air. :v

The reason why Tagers don't ever come close to winning is because they don't trust their 360s enough. Sure it's extremely punishable but it makes the opponent second guess their approach which in hand gives Tager a fighting chance because of that slowed pace. Mind Games.

@Taigashot ok, upon testing, turns out i'm wrong. air grab only beats j.9b. i thought i had countered this in the past, but I guess i'm wrong. you can try to beat j.7b with a j.7d with tager. your j.d will suck litchi back in, and she'll either be forced to block or you'll score a counter hit. coincidentally, j.d has great starting proration :)

@AtaeruCDX it is not THAT hard, as a tager player you must know, as with hakumen, when to block, it's impressive how he looked through his pressure and predicted the jump b(?) he blocked, did the first turn, and then used the buffering system of the game to do the other 270/360 needed for the second turn and then obviously c, it's a question of speed so, not that hard

@xSmezelx they are standing 720, but they are buffered, the "true" standing 720 is done without buffering specials or c or d, it is done normally after a 5a, which you need an insanely speed on your thumb to nail it, i can do it, but rarely though

easier done with 2a, but its not that epic
