  • 1:10 why is that man standing in a hot tub?

  • I enjoyed Your short Movie

  • You pervert! How dare games like this exist for little children to play! It'll turn them into rapists! (Just kidding there with the ignorant Tipper Gore/Jack Thompson rhetoric)

When playing the CGA remake of LSL1, I too felt very immersed (More so than when I played LSL7: Love for Sail)

  • When I was in Grade School I had recently got my first PC (IBM PS/2) I heard about this game from an older kid in the schoolyard and he was going to make me a copy. I got so excited about this game. I told my best friend who didn't have a PC (like most then) and I over hyped the game for days. I told him the graphics are like real life and you get to see hot naked chicks! LOL how I was wrong on the graphics but I ended up loving the game. Played for half a year until finally beating it.

  • I remember getting drowned after flushing the toilet in that game :') good times

  • What was that Japanese game you showed at the beginning? Thanks!

  • @joenook Sexy Beach 3 Plus by Illusion.

  • @phreakindee Ah okay, that's what I thought!

  • awwww i remember playing this when i was little and the game asked you some questions at the beginning to make sure you were an adult.

me and my cousins used to gather all the people in my family's reunions so they would answer those questions. so many memories xD eeeeeeeeeexcellent game

  • Nevar forget. One of my favourite series.

  • Could you do a play through of this game with YOUR commentary? :D That'd be awesome.

  • love your reviews :D

  • Ha, I remember when I took Tech ED in Middle School, we had like OLD Dos computers running Windows 3.1. I found (ok I installed it) Leisure Suit Larry 1 on the computers, as well as Doom. Great times.

  • You are completely right dear Sir, this is a work of art, and like any work of art, would it really always necessarily be better if it was _technically_ better, as in better graphics? A painting can be fantastic even though it is not photo realistic -- the same holds true for a lot of games, certain graphic styles simply fit excellent and are perfect the way they are -- as in LSL1. :-)

  • can you please tell me were can i download the game and the emulator plzz...

  • @antoni583 google is your friend

  • I played this game when i was 4 the tandy version was my mothers favorite

  • someone please tell me, what is that intro music from? (or who made it?)

    it's seriously awesome

  • :-) what a great game

Please do a review of a game called "Castle" (or "Castle Adventure" or something). It's evil, but fun.

  • If you take requests, could you review System Shock 1?

  • @TheEarPlugs I certainly take requests, and I hope to review that one at some point! I've never played it and do not yet own it, but when I can get it consider on the short list of games to review

  • @phreakindee

if you want to have fun , i have a name tittle for you :

    Commander Keen

remember that ? very nice series of game ,

  • @hitachi088 I certainly know CK! It was my first game actually, still one of my favorite platform games.

  • @phreakindee

Sorry , i just send you a PM about it ... so dont care ,

Can you do a review of it or you are too busy ?

  • @phreakindee I know this comment is really old but this seems to be the ideal place to give requests....

Anyways can you review Midtown Madness 2? one of my favorite retro games out there. its kinda like a late 90s version of Vette!

  • @phreakindee I was curious regarding your Deus Ex: Human Revolution review and was wondering if you could also review either the original game, Deus Ex, or the sequel to the original, Deus Ex: Invisible War?

  • @phreakindee You should review Age Of Empires some day

  • Your videos are so fun to watch. I wish you'd upload more!

  • These are classics

  • Nice review, I haven't played this in years...

  • I'd like to see a Leisure Suit Larry movie one day (I mean a proper live-action movie) :) Who'd play Larry, though?

  • Really Fun to watch, as always! Keep it up!

  • Now wait a minute... is that Roberta Williams on the Softporn box?!

  • @VintageJunior Indeed it is!

  • i really want to try these games out, but since i'm a minor i can't have access to mature games (though i don't really see anything mature about it except for the prospect of sex). are there any free pc demos i could try out? it looks like a fun series to test out

  • @TheEdward4ever No free demos, but the series is 23 years old now, it's pretty simple to find them online to run with DosBox

  • what? just play those games.

your mom cant be that hard?

  • @Borin81 it's not my mom, she could care less what i play, it's the damn stores. they are all REALLY strict on who can and can't buy mature games. hell my mom had to provide social security just so she could buy 1 mature game for me. when you live in ohio, this is what you put up with <_<

  • but Larry isnt exactly available in stores anymore, and on the internet we are all 18.

  • @Borin81 true, but i'm not allowed to buy anything online. not parental, governmental. really hard to explain

  • i didnt say anything about buying, since this game is freeware nowadays.

and surely you are allowed to download old games? or do the government check your computer daily?

  • @TheEdward4ever This game is not rated "Mature" in the ESRB sense.

  • On the subject of Sierra adventure games, could you please review Roger Wilco's Space Quest? That also has a VGA remake, which I'm more familar with than the original version.

  • @StrawberryGuy86 I'd love to, and hope to! I've been looking out for a copy to purchase, so as soon as I do I'll get to playing it and taking notes

  • what a great review!! I'm glad oldschoolnycgamer shouted you out :)

  • Ken sent me!

  • So which one is your favourite larry game?

So far I've only played the last one. (Love for Sail)

  • @Molo9000 Larry 6, Shape Up or Slip Out, is my favorite that I've played. Granted I haven't played all of them so that's only a "so far" statement! Love For Sail is also quite good, a bit more advanced technically than the others too.

  • my fave larry was i think 6,, love for sail.. where ur at a holiday resort trying to pick up... the worst one was 5 cause i can barely remember is even though i finished it,, and the xbox one,, that was just plain stupid,, where larry goes to collage.. but i mean i was a huge sierra fan back then,, even typing sierra (which was usually the command to start the game) brings back a real sense of nostalgia... ahh,, how i miss my 286..

  • great review !

your channel is awesome - keep them coming

(please make a review about Broken Sword or Blade Runner

ok, not very old but sure awesome games)

  • I might have been the only person on Earth who liked the Magna Cum Laude game, but I'm a fan of the whole series in general (except Love For Sail, which I thought sucked).

Good review. I'm glad to see you are almost at 2K subscribers. You're moving up, and I can think of few more deserving.

  • @tombert256 Hehe, MCL actually had its decent moments... and I could forgive it somewhat being that it starred Larry's nephew and wasn't made by Al Lowe. Box Office Bust was just TERRIBLE. I mean, wow, was it bad.

And thanks for the compliments! That subscriber jump is fun to watch

  • yeah this game is awesome

  • Great review sir!

  • awesome
