hi, can you help me i have 2 woofers of 1000 w rms each and 4 speakers of 70 rms each so total rms is 2280 rms, what tipe of fuse need, my friend say 200 ampers is good but i gonna by sure and i have a amplifier of 5000w you think is good for my 2000 rms cus for my 280 rms of my speakers i gonna buy another amplifier. o and my capacitor is 3 farad. if you help i'll very happy.
@Iloveufonzi Yea, any MP3 player should work. More complex devices (Zune, etc) may not, but you could take a flash drive and fill it with mp3 files and the deck would play it perfectly.
do you need any adaptors for wiring and the headunit? i just ordered the same headunit for my 2005 honda civic se and was just wondering if i'll need any extra adaptors or wires or will i just be fine with the headunit and the metra kit?
Ideally you should never go below 3/4 of the RMS power for your subs. So anything at or above 450Watts should work just fine. Obviously, the closer the better.
Technically yes, but you would need an RCA splitter so you could run it to both amps. You'd also probably have some signal degredation so I wouldn't recommend it.
No, the dash kit for this car is just a trim piece the makes the head unit flush with the dash so there are no gaps. There is a metal cage in the dash where the head unit is bolted into place.
Oh that part. Yea, that's only held in by a bunch of plastic clips in the video. They are strong though, it takes some force to get them out. Also, there are two screws that hold it into place underneath that I took out for this video so I could pull everything out. Normally it's actually bolted down.
dude whats with the wires behind the pedals...that carpet comes up and just run it under all the carpet...if i looked in your car and saw that i would laugh at you...and a few hours? maybe to put in all the wires mouth the subs and install a full set of door speakers....the only thing i like about this video is the head unit i have always loved pioneers and im ordering this one soon....im currently selling my mazda6 so i had to pull all the wires but ill show you my setup asap peace

@luisin321123 You can look up the amperage ratings for your amps online. Then find a fuse at least that size.
For that much power you'll *need* 0guage wire. 4guage can only do up to 125amps which isn't going to cut it.
I hope you have a big alternator for a 5000w amp. The three farad cap should be plenty though.

@luisin321123 you need to be thinking about putting a second batt in the car

Tell me if I'm right?
Subwoofer 600 Watts RMS and 1200Watts Max.
Sub is 600Watts so i need amplifier with 600 or more watts to power it.

Amplifier at or above 450Watts of RMS? Right?
23tomi23 2 years ago
Yup. The amp's RMS output should be at least 3/4 of what your Sub's RMS power handling is.

Its just seems that if you hit a bump, the whole thing would just fall out, like how you pulled it out in the video.
