I don't really believe this should be called metal though since it does not consist of any metal elements. But if the band also has metal elements then I take it back for I have not heard much of spectral lore.

I agree with Obituary. I don't know what you think atmospheric means, SvartBorgir, but something can easily be laced with dark undertones and have a sinister quality whilst also being atmospheric. The two are in no way mutually exclusive, as your comment suggests. This song conveys the depth of an incredible expansive plateau, under the veil of fog, numbed by sorrow, a very solitary world. Very atmospheric in my opinion.
