I'm not a big Yngwie Malmsteen fan, and I haven't really been interested in most of his stuff - it's too cheesy most of the time. But to be honest, this sounds pretty good, it's catchy, it has a groove, there's no cheesy singer to ruin it. Overall, if he played stuff more like this I would probably listen to him more, but he doesn't though. Like I said, I'm not a big fan of his, but I can't deny his ability as a musician, ego or not.

He spends most of his time playing within the scales (except in guitar-friendly keys like "Am" & "Em".) that most Baroque music was known for: Harmonic Minor, Phrygian Dominant, (the 5th-degree mode of Harmonic Minor.) YJM's motifs usually include fast scale runs, arpeggios (minor, major, and diminished) and pedal-tone sequences.
