This is just the end boss for the first episode, while Hitler is the boss of the third episode. And there are six episodes to the game, though if I recall correctly, the last three are meant to take place before the first three. So technically Hitler is still the final boss.

Lol, I hate to break it to you, but the below comment is not wrong. Doom was the first FPS *with multiplayer*. I know this because I bought these games when they were released in 92 and 93.

However, Halo did revolutionize gaming in that it brought FPS games to a MUCH larger market. Prior to Halo, really, console gaming was kind of reserved for geeks. Goldeneye was popular, but Halo, and the Xbox, really drew in a much bigger, more mainstream crowd.

@xjusticex2013x Actually the first FPS game was Rainbow Six(1998). Thats a fact too. :P Original Doom did not have mp. It was singleplayer only just like Duke Nukem 3D, but both got mp later. Fanmade mods or whatever, but it even says it in gaming sites that R6 was teh first FPS with mp, but im not sure if i remember right if it even said so on R6s box...eh, anyways yeah, the point being is that Doom was not the first multiplayer fps.

I remember when I ordered the Wold3D demo on floppy from a computer magazine, I almost had a hard-on when I got the disk at the post office... except I was so young I didn't know what that was. Good times. I was even more ecstatic when I put in the floppy and started the game, adrenaline on full throttle. Yup, good times. The first time is the best :)
