ugh Braces...I actually need them but my dentist said that I would need Jaw surgery too and it was just too expensive and me and my dad didn't wanna risk having problems if anything went wrong during the surgery :( So Now I can't get braces...But--Oh well. It kinda scares me >o>; Who knew teeth could be so complicated >u>;

Kelly, I just wanted to say, I loved this video. I really hope you see this because I wanted to let you know I am a huge fan. I don't know much about your work, but I do know that you did the voice for Sango on Inuyasha and your voice is the main thing that made Sango my favorite female character on the show. I think we have the prettiest voice and I have always thought you gave Sango the greatest personality. Your voice fit her role perfectly. Thank you for giving us this chance to meet you!

you're lucky it all happened so quick. i first went to the ortho a year ago and im only getting my braces in 2 weeks. :( i had to have a surgery for an impacted tooth to be exposed and all this other crap ! argh

I don't recall ever having a lisp when I had braces. I got them when I was 10 1/2 and got them off two months after my 13th birthday. I'm sure that the lisping will go away after a while. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to them. *shrugs*

Thanks, I knew some of these things but some I did not. I am getting braces due to all my teeth touching on top of each other and I have a larger bottom jaw then topper jaw and a lot of crowding.

Yes, the lisp is audible if I really listen for it on "th" sounds, but you still sound like what I would expect (especially when you said "Hi!" at the beginning; sounded just like "Hi, it's me, Barbie! Would you like to watch me in ....). Thanks for everything you've done. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!
