This guy is a total piece of garbage. Yes everyone can do a cut in half illusion but what it comes down to is that this guy completely ripped off Copperfield's performance. Everything from the countdown clock to the escape attempt. It is a complete copy and a horrible one at that.
Sorry, but maybe it is a copy (there is 100 000 magicians in the world who do Origami, subtrunk and always the same illusions), but the effect is fantastic on the audience. MAybe you have just anger not to have the apparatus in your home !! Cool video, but his presentation should be better.
he's the jerk from Germany ripping off all of David's stuff. he doesn't even have permission to perform this. i really hope DC sues the pants off of this guy. of course after, this guy would probably "rip off" copperfields. corny but true.
copperfield didnt invent this trick, magicians all over the world did it, if this guy should be sued then copperfield should also, blackstone did it way back in the 1940's i remember.
it's called "routining." i know copperfield didn't invent this illusion but he sure as heck helped create this routine which was performed 10 years before this guy ever owned this illusion. it's interesting to me how about 70% of the illusions that become advertised on this guy's site were performed by copperfield but years earlier and he manages to have the same routines that copperfield had/has for all of them. he's even doing an illusion now called "Portal." Hmmm.
well i do have to agree with u that this guys' pretty cheap cuz it cant get anymore obvious that the guy's kneeling, and the black box just gives it away.. copperfield does it much better.
ya, it does annoy me because of the fact that most of the public who watches these shows thinks those copycats made them themselves or something either that or they don't see the real thing in which its done flawlessly.
you should remember more clearly, Blackstone did a buzz saw illusion in which the two halves were never seperated. I believe Don wayne was the designer of the death saw and copperfield owns the rights... the only owner of the rights btw
they never pull the feet apart from the blade like David does, and the guys feet perform the same pattern over and over.... and before he is cut, you can see his pretty skinny in the back right above his butt which shoves that hes sitting on his legs under him and the legs are mechanical.
At least he didnt use the same music...
