  • cool turning signals haha

  • @pranxter08 heheh, luckily arm signals are all that's required here...

  • husky rulez

  • the newest gopros 1080p are so much nicer in video quality. This actually comes across very grainy...does not look any better than my atc2k. which was 90 dollars. I have a flip ultra(124 dollars)video(street luge)that is as clear or clearer than this. I just wish the 1080p's had a wide angle version. I'm thinking this would be good for ALL mc'ists in for when things go south due to innatentive car drivers! video tells the truth. thanks for the vid.

  • @YouTees Hero HD has a FOV of 127deg running in 1080p mode and a FOV of 170deg when running in 920p or 720p. 720p also gives you 60fps.

  • GREAT LOOKING VID!

  • I have 2 questions.

    1. What program did you use to get the 3 different size settings. Most gopro videos I see are "HQ" and 4:3 letterbox. Your video was HD and 16:9 which is exactly what I want.

    2. Did you do anything to help in your sound quality since you actually had good sound, where most gopro videos i hear just have wind noise and static.

  • I used Sony Vegas 8 to process/render the videos, but any video editing software will work. The RAW gopro files are 512x384 (4:3 aspect ratio) and if you upload them in their raw format to youtube will give you letterbox video with HQ option. If you want the HD option, you need to re-render as 1280x720.

As for sound quality, there is a "high/low" setting on the camera. Default is "Low" - changing to "high" made sound a little better (but in my opinion it still stucks ;)
