I pulled up to AutoZone in my custom Accord and the guy at AutoZone who drives a sick SVT Cobra said if I buy a case of Seafoam from him and add a lb. of white rice to my gas tank then the rice will draw out moisture in the engine and will aid in the process of breaking down the carbon. I did that and now my engine wont start.

@hondamagnaperformanc The fact that the motor didn't start has absolutely nothing to do with the seafoam and everything to do with the stupid rice clogging his fuel lines. Also if it does in fact wash it off of the cylinder walls then it will leave a puddle of the stuff on the top of the cylinder that will lubricated the cylinder walls when the motor is turned on. The threat of damaging your compression rings is slim to none. Also doing what you recommend is really expensive.

@UmadLoL It was the 2.2 liter engine, the largest engine Honda ever made for cars. I put that engine into my 1989 CRX and the power to weight ratio, if my math is correct, is 2x better than a ZR1. So, statistically speaking my CRX is twice as fast as a ZR1. Technically speaking, my quarter mile should be mid 5's. However, realistically speaking, I went to the quarter Friday night and I did a 17.14 WTF!? I think the spark plugs are loose or something.

Not a bad looking Mustang. But with that Cobra R front end and Cobra wheels, you really need something under the hood that'll kick ass. A 3.8L V-6, even with true duals, and especially with a slushbox, won't cut it. You need to ditch the slushomatic and put a manual in there. And add some headers, larger throttle body, K&N air filter, and chip it. Then it might...just might...have the go to match the looks. And I hope you've painted the bumpers body color by now. And seafoam works!

the reason it is smoking is because the sea foam is being burned and what doesn't get burned in combustion chamber is hitting the cat and being burned out from thier
@irweasil not true you can run an engine on straight seafoam (which is really 100% petroleum) so it does burn/combust in the cyliders. it is a great product and really does cleam carbon deposits and gummed gas from fuel systems and combustion chambers

I thought the same thing when I first used Seafoam, but there was a significant difference in my high mileage Envoy. But to be sure, two weeks later I ran it through again and there was ZERO smoke.....so it is pushing the crud out your exhaust and the smoke isn't the Seafoam.

Maybe before you do stupid shit like dumping Sea Foam into your intake, or sucking it thru a vacuum hose, trying asking a real mechanic. You could use a windex bottle with plain water, spray it into your throttle body, while somebody revs your engine and get better results. Sea Foam is designed to dump into your fuel tank, not into your engine you dumb-ass punk! Its got alchohol in it, and that strips the lubrication from your cylinder walls, causing a shortened life to your engine. Dumb asses!!

I have seafoamed my car for the first time it has 103,000 miles on it. It is a 2002 honda civic si and it never smoaked like all the Found ON Road Dead mustangs.plus my car starts the first time and it doesn't sound like my plug wire fell off.
Why buy a mustang gt or cobra these days due to high gas prices?...I regularly getting 25 (US MPG) or 31 (imperial MPG here in Canada)..I know people in sunfires and cavaliers that dont get that good of MPG...There are many more reasons that just that to buy a GT or cobra vs a V6 mustang...

I think the main reason why people hit on Honda the most is you see more vids of them or you see more riced out or something like that if you see what I mean. It's actually just a factory bumper for a V6. the 2000 Cobra R's had a factory Borla side exit, and they used the rear bumper off a V6 since there were no over axle/rear exit exhaust.
i wouldn't recommend doing this because it burns your rings and gaskets and some times fouls the plugs, thus resulting is burning more oil and would later on cost you more money in the long run.

uh retard.. for best results, it RECOMMENDS ON THE CAN, to use 33% in gas tank, 33% in oil, and 33% in intake.. know your stuff before bashing someone
if you add seafoam to the gas or oil you will NOT get any smoke , if you use it as an INTAKE cleaner it will burn in the cylinder and smoke is the result , however this decarbonisis the intake, valves and cylinders , it is a very good product and has very good results if your car skips at idle but the tune up is good try it , you'll be suprised how it works
I just did it through the brake booster line (take the vac line off the booster) but you might need another person to rev the engine a little while you disconnect the line 'cause your car is going to wanna stall. Use about 1/3 of the can. I had no problems. Only problem I had was getting used to the gas pedal again. Stuff works awesome!

No pics, suppose I could take some message me your e-mail. You can do all 3 at once (1/3 can in oil crankcase; 1/3 in gas tank; 1/3 through vac line) you just want to use a line going into your intake NOT one going to your A/C controls ect. Just look for the fatter hose going to the brake booster(the thing behind the brake fluid reservoir round and black in color on the firewall). Take it off the 90 elbow going in. the hose is fat so I used a drinking straw. Let it suck it in.
Don't worry I was too just follow the instructions on the can. I did it two months ago no problems, I'm about to do it again. says to do it every oil change.
I have used SeaFoam for about a year, every three months I add it to my gas tank and every time I get an oil change I add it in the oil crank case... no smoke! Ever!

Its a piece of shit because mustangs are muscle, putting a v6 on a mustang chasis and body doesnt make it a mustang, it makes it a cheap verision of the GT. I drive an Eclipse GT and yea it can smoke most mutangs. Oh and good job making ur stang into a riced out piece of shiat.

Maybe before you do stupid shit like dumping Sea Foam into your intake, or sucking it thru a vacuum hose, trying asking a real mechanic. You could use a windex bottle with plain water, spray it into your throttle body, while somebody revs your engine and get better results. Sea Foam is designed to dump into your fuel tank, not into your engine you dumb-ass punk! Its got alchohol in it, and that strips the lubrication from your cylinder walls, causing a shortened life to your engine. Dumb asses!!

Uh....
It is 50% light hydrocarbon oil (pale oil), 30% petroleum naphtha, 10% isopropyl alcohol, and 10% water.
The alcohol does NO cleaning but is there to keep the other ingredients which generally separate quickly emulsified.

I have seafoamed my car for the first time it has 103,000 miles on it. It is a 2002 honda civic si and it never smoaked like all the Found ON Road Dead mustangs.plus my car starts the first time and it doesn't sound like my plug wire fell off.

Why buy a mustang gt or cobra these days due to high gas prices?...I regularly getting 25 (US MPG) or 31 (imperial MPG here in Canada)..I know people in sunfires and cavaliers that dont get that good of MPG...There are many more reasons that just that to buy a GT or cobra vs a V6 mustang...

I think the main reason why people hit on Honda the most is you see more vids of them or you see more riced out or something like that if you see what I mean. That's why I said Honda when I should have probably said Import or something along those lines. I think rice can be considered a general term for all imports and another one for rice is imports with huge mufflers, spoilers, etc.

It's actually just a factory bumper for a V6. the 2000 Cobra R's had a factory Borla side exit, and they used the rear bumper off a V6 since there were no over axle/rear exit exhaust.

i wouldn't recommend doing this because it burns your rings and gaskets and some times fouls the plugs, thus resulting is burning more oil and would later on cost you more money in the long run.

Whats the point of buying a V6 mustang? If you buy a V6 to save gas, which you will NOT with any appreciable effect, then just forget about a Mustang. Go buy a Prius. If you're going to do something, do it right. V6 mustangs shame the steel they are made from. Go buy a hybrid, buddy. I need your gas. The mustang is a pleasure-mobile, not a reasonable grocery getter. People buy the Stang for its heritage, beauty, and performance. The V8 just comes naturally.

if you add seafoam to the gas or oil you will NOT get any smoke , if you use it as an INTAKE cleaner it will burn in the cylinder and smoke is the result , however this decarbonisis the intake, valves and cylinders , it is a very good product and has very good results if your car skips at idle but the tune up is good try it , you'll be suprised how it works

I just did it through the brake booster line (take the vac line off the booster) but you might need another person to rev the engine a little while you disconnect the line 'cause your car is going to wanna stall. Use about 1/3 of the can. I had no problems. Only problem I had was getting used to the gas pedal again. Stuff works awesome!

No pics, suppose I could take some message me your e-mail. You can do all 3 at once (1/3 can in oil crankcase; 1/3 in gas tank; 1/3 through vac line) you just want to use a line going into your intake NOT one going to your A/C controls ect. Just look for the fatter hose going to the brake booster(the thing behind the brake fluid reservoir round and black in color on the firewall). Take it off the 90 elbow going in. the hose is fat so I used a drinking straw. Let it suck it in.
