@ajcf1995 I have the demon drive doubl pedals, mcx in quilted bubinga, zildjian A costum but not the 900 series hardware, instead I have the gibraltar rack. Check my video in Drum micking and tell me what you think.

Does this kit have a real wood veneer finish or is this a digital transfer like what is being used on some of their snares now?

@dchandlerful yes, its really an outer ply of tamo finished in a mocha fade, mine should be arriving in a couple days and I'm pumped!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little more attracted to this kit than to the Reference series. It's simplistic and low in cost. Plus, the 14 X 6.5 MCX snare (not the one in this video, that one is a Sensitone. Search MCX snare on the MDS channel) is meaty and fat as hell. Pearl outdid themselves, again.

I love pearl drums.They just get everything right from the machined tension rods to the shell construction and the amazing finishes.Oh yeah they sound top too.

@baronofhell08 i quite like that snare sound, it sounds a bit like mine, mine's got mroe of a deeper tone to it, i like how tight it sounds but not in a bad way.
