@VelCro8112 the atom CPU was never designed for HD video playback. dont blame intel and the architecture for that. intel never intended the atom cpu to do those tasks. it is only now that they are realizing the need for high definition playback capable processors and systems. you expected too much from the chip.
@KlingonSpider my comment was only such, that the equivalent AMD processors comparable to Atom at that time was able to play Bluray.. but I guess you're right, I did expect too much.. besides who would watch 1080p on a netbook? thanks then I guess?
@KlingonSpider 1080p on a netbook? when i bought mine i expected at least some decent playback for 720p, it even failed with 544p....just a waste of money and a 4GB ram! now its sitting in a drawer gathering dust. Took an hour to boot, another to open any simple app. and wasted my time on waiting for everything even net surfing. Intel duped us.
@catchmeu is that a laptop? I suppose I can google more about it.. you mean 1080p Bluray? with all the HD Audio? those that are atleast 24 GB size films? or just plain 1080p?
intel atom is very slow... i know.
