You should check out his goal in the video here on YouTube Belgium vs. Denmark 1994. He scored after only 12 seconds on the field. He was an effective defensive midfielder, not a goal scorer.

Yeah, Jensen was a defensive midfielder. His role was to clean up on the defending part of his temas field and conquer the ball from the opponents and deliver it to a team-mate. I find it funny too, that people thought he would be a goal machine.

I was at that game and although we lost to QPR there was still a party atmosphere as we'd waited so long for a Jensen goal.

It's funny how much hype surrounded Jensen after his presentation at Euro 1992. He was never a goal scorer but beating Germany in the finals sent him to Arsenal. Great for him, but nobody here in Denmark ever expected him to score heaps of goals.
