I don't get hyped up for video games anymore, and this game is one of the reasons why. Gaming quality is so sporadic these days that it's too hard to even care when a company finally releases a long delayed, overhyped game. Considering how pretentious this whole launch event was it was bound to disappoint many people. Hell when it finally came out it actually looked pretty good to me, but that's because I wasn't expecting anything amazing.

I bet the only way they will release a "re-mastered" version of 7 is if they get desperate for money, and I doubt that will happen since they make those stupid kingdom hearts games and other "Kid's games". The new one is funny, I mean, they included a black man with a baby bird hiding in his afro. That's pretty whacky.

It just doesn't make sense to me that someone that knew a game was exclusive to a particular console, would go out and buy a different console. You essentially said, "I know FF will only be on the PS3, but I'm gonna go waste a bunch of money on another console instead." I guess if you care so little about money, Square-Enix is more than happy to take it off your hands.

It was cheaper and it had more games that I was interested in. I had bought it back when the ps3 hadn't pulled out of it's slump yet.

Also as someone who has spent a lot of time with a Dualshock, I can say that I really, really have issues with the positioning of the analogue sticks. It's the least ergonomic thing I have held since the Intellivision controller!

they lowered the grpahics a bit but the 360 is very close to the PS3.

fact the 360 has a stronger GPU, only reason is because the Cell acts as a second GPU taking the load off, so yes i belive the ps3 is superior, but compared to the wii??

anyways im still grudging about it going to 360, but im getting my 360 on xmas and im buying both ps3/360 version cause i like the 3 discs each one has a diffrent art!

You could probably find the art as an image on the internet, and multiple discs (especially on the 360) poses a greater risk of scratching a disc and possibly ruining the whole game unless you somehow replaced the scratched disc through eBay or used a disc-doctoring tool. I wouldn't suggest getting it for the 360 if you're fortunate enough to have a PS3, but it's really up to you.

I recommend getting a PS3 if you are planning to get FFXIII, the PS3 version will fit on one dual-layer Blu-ray disc while the 360 version will probably take about 4 dual-layer DVD discs. The PS3 version won't be compressed as much as the 360 version so it will probably have better quality. Plus FF Versus XIII is exclusive to PS3, and Agito is for PSP so chances are that it'll be downloadable and playable on PS3 as well. The 360 isn't bad, but PS3 will offer more for a Final Fantasy fan.

eveybody should agree with this guys comment, i have an xbox and it's a bit weak at times frame drop in number of games, like blue dragon,gear of war 2 lost oddsey,and much more. that show me that,360 can't handle games like ff13 and star ocean 4,and 360 fan boys will try tell it doesn't. when i no because i have an xbox too so there.

as for this game and the rest of the jrpgs i will buy them on the first day 4 ps3 on 1 blu ray disc.

I read that it takes about 6 months to translate Final Fantasy games into English, so that may explain some of the time delay. But, I read that several years ago, so I don't know how true it is. I wonder how long it takes to do the English voice-overs??
