  • @roedogape Not believing is a belief in the same way that non-stamp collecting is a hobby. Basically, it isn't. Now, declaring or promoting a negative is a belief. Even believing a negative is a belief without promoting it. But simply not believing is not a belief.

  • We are all human and we all have thoughts and temptations, the good is not acting in them. It's fine to have thoughts but once you commit to forbidden actions then it'd be trangression.

The red button is your willpower to resist temptation.

I would also like to comment on your description; if a good deed is done purely to do good, then it should never be brought back such as mentioning it in conversation or showing off to others as it would mean you have taken what it was worth, xept 4 hlping

  • Hi Im philhellenes and Im going to talk tormentingly slow and take long pauses to take a drag off my cigaret. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz is he still talking?

  • not believing is also a belief ,,,but i cant help but believe that religion is nothing more then to keep man intangled in his own mind while those who know better take him for a ride..there good and bad in all of us..the battle is within ourselves...where creatures with half a brain in society and the other half stuck in the woods...my heart weighs no heavier the next man.but i will be damned if i read a book that keeps me coming back the book for answers...if its not in your heart its not real

  • you can go home with the memory, that you did a good thing. and walk a little taller? to me that is gaining as well, so that part does not make sense to me.

  • who is Tony???

  • Hes right removing semen lowers ones hormone level hugely and it causes a huge blast of positive hormones. Not masturbating is bad really.

  • That is quite the thin cigarette you have Phil.

  • "come forth i will give to those who seek like from a fountain freely ."_bible

there are many things to read in the bible , it is very intersting

  • I´m a polytoxicomanic- hedeonistic Agnostic myself, and I think without religions a lot of lives could have been spared yesterday, today and tomorow.

Peace to the world - and especialy for me and you.

    Censorship of the mind sucks.

Smoke, wank, fuck and have a good time as long as you don´t hurt your next is my opinion.

I know this is not the correct biblical way to believe, but does that make me a worse human beeing?

    I hope not.

But if my neighbours think so: SO WHAT ??!!

  • Lol @ Charliesangelsman. "My witness needs to be better, so I don't run around on YouTube trying to preach"

    1. I thought God was your witness. D:

    2. You ARE preaching.

Does he even know what the word "witness" means? If not, his ramblings just got that much more expected.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how people who are atheists are so concerned with what god or gods SOMEONE else is worshiping. Why do you care? I don't care that YOU DON'T worship a god, so why do you occupy your thoughts with worrying about what form of worship someone else partakes in?? Also, you are going on & on (smoking at the same time like you have absolutely no self control to wait one second, make a decent video, THEN smoke, ha ha ha) to this dude who is obviously (CONT'D)

  • BAT SHIT, and couldn't grasp what it is your saying EVEN WITH THE HELP of anti-psychotics, much less by your ramblings. My thoughts are that you don't believe in God. That is you, not me, that is YOUR choice, so it really is YOUR business. I am not going to PREACH to you and tell you all the reasons WHY you should believe in God. Why do YOU feel a need to try and place YOUR views on other people? PS: I only came across yr vid looking for that dude that flipped & killed someone.

  • @Chrliesangelsman - I tried to reach out. He was getting (as you can probably imagine) a wave of hate (perhaps understandably). I don't know why but Tony had this vid on his favourites, as you can see if you look at the news reports VERY closely, so I "reached" him somehow. Maybe he "grasped" something. Obviously it wasn't enough and almost certainly was never going to be enough, but I believe in trying. YOUR way is to not try, to think God will make it all right.

  • @philhellenes: I don't know that much would be accomplished by the 2 of us voicing our opinions to one another, b/c I am sure my beliefs may be very different than yours. I incorrectly thought you were an atheist when I watched this the 1st time because, I see you smoking while preaching (sinning while preaching....hum??) and I can't imagine the Holy Spirit directing you to sin while you witness.. I am ALSO a smoker, but I wouldn't be setting that type of example while witnessing. (cont'd)

  • I personally believe that to reach this guy your footsteps would REALLY need to be directed by the movement of the Holy Spirit, as he was VERY VERY VERY tormented. I guess after thinking about it, I can see that you were trying to help. I just feel that before we run around PREACHING at people, maybe it is best that we look at what example WE set, which is why I rarely dispute with others. My witness needs to be better, and that is the truth, so I don't run around on you tube trying to preach

  • (conclusion) to others about "cleaning up their life" so to speak. I have LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of areas in my life that need cleaning up, I don't deny that, but I don't go around preaching to people without the guidance of the Holy Spirit to direct me. I think you harming your temple by smoking WHILE PREACHING is EXACTLY why people who are AGAINST Christians have ammunition to say the things that they do. You couldn't WAIT to blaze up a smoke so that your witness wouldn't look harmed??

  • PS: And NO I don't go around witnessing to people on you tube (or the net for that matter) but it is b/c I feel like someone with a "lukewarm" witness (which is my first impression of you, and I could be wrong) may do more harm than good. It CERTAINLY makes Christians look bad. I think when trying to witness to lost souls, then I think it is important to be a living example of Christianity. Not sinning while preaching. That is my take.

  • Apparently Tony didn't consider your suggestions and never will.

  • And make it fat, too.

  • Will someone pray for my penis to get bigger? I'll consider following jesus if you can get my penis to go to abooooout... 10 inches. 10 sounds pretty nice.

  • 7:14

I certainly haven't become the sexual dynamo I though I would have become when I came off Christianity.

    Shucks! lol

  • ''who`s to say he mite stop you in the future''.....you had no idea how rigth you where...... =(

  • well, i guess no reply is needed when you stand at a -10 comment review. have a good day i guess

  • 2:00-2:08 wow Phil, you've actually envisioned that this guy might do something

Im talking about him killing that girl

  • Many "claim" to be Christians, even though they are not. I didn't know Tony, but I could tell from on video that he had spiritual problems.

His "faith" was only based on religion, he didn't actually know Christ.

Religion is bad, even Jesus hated it. Read the Gospels and see for yourself, what Jesus called the religious opressor's of His time.

A Christian doesn't curse, or hate people. Anyone who hates, and claims to be a Christian is a liar.

    Benjamin Antell, artist.

  • Oh enough of your no true christian bullshit.

You can't sweep what you don't like about your faith under the rub you fool.

It's there and it smells like shit.

They are christians, you are a christian, it's just the way you chose to follow.

Get used to it. Your faith is shit.

  • Atheists know "nothing" about "reality", since they have no spiritual insight. There are two parallel realities one is physical the other is spiritual. "True Christians" see and live in both of them. Christ stoppes Christians doing bad things. He changed my whole life completely. Now I love everybody, even those that hate me, thank God.

Tony was possessed by evil spirits, that's where violence comes from. He could have been set free through prayer. Jesus can set anybody free, from everything bad

  • lol making random claims about magic doesn't make it true.

atheists don't have any insight on spirituality huh? What about people who were christian for 30 years and felt jesus within themselves. But are not atheists? They know absolutely nothing about what they experienced, did they?

The truth is, people can convince themselves of all sorts of incredibly funny stuff. It doesn't make it true no matter how hard you believe.

  • It's not about "magic" matie. God is real. I was an idiot for 21 years, because I didn't try Jesus. When I did He revealed Himself to me, just like He promises to do in thew Bible!

I was chocked for a few seconds, because I had no idea, that you could acrtually meet Jesus here and now. But anybody can! Then I met the Holy Spirit, and now He guides me through life, and heals about 25% of the people that I pray for!!! I'm sure that the % will grow, as I continue to obey. God Bless You.

  • You can meet any gods you want, it doesn't prove that the god is all powerful, or the only god. It would be more convincing if your claims to healing prayer power had better results than what you would expect of chance. What you need to realize is that you and Prayer healing is not the work of a magic sky spirit, but you sending your own positive energy to the person.

  • Evangelist Heidi Baker and her kids have raised more than 100 people from the dead.

The healings have nothing to do with me, Jesus is the one who heals those that I pray for. It has nothing to do with my energy.

Once when I prayed for a mans deaf ear to open, God restored his sight instead :-)

So it hasn't really got much to do with me. I just do (obey) what the Holy Spirit tells me to do.

  • You should give yourself more credit, that's one of the points I was trying to get across. You're the one who's being positive, and being postive brings positive energy into the world, whether you're being aided by a holy spirit or not. Do you agree or disagree with that?

  • I'd never take the credit from the Holy Spirit. A positive attitude is always good, but I could not make a leg grow in a few seconds just by thinking positive :-) Not on yer life mate.

Besides, I talk to the Holy Spirit and He answeres me, how I don't know but He tells me where to lay my hands etc, when I pray for people.

I just prayed for a guy with cancer, he almost fainted when God "zapped" him with the Holy Spirit. It will be interesting to see if God healed him.

  • I would never take the credit from the Holy Spirit for what He is doing!

To be positive is always good, but I can't make a leg grow, just by thinking positively. That's the Holy Spirits work entirely.

  • So, you're the tool by which this holy spirit works, is that what you're saying? Also, the holy spirit can make legs grow? Are you referring to amputation? If so, I'd like to see that.

  • Anybody can be used by the Holy Spirit, if they have received Christ and Him!

The woman I refered to had one leg shorter than the other, she told me later that it grew out to the right length in a matter of minutes, when she got home.

  • Well, I don't disbelieve your claim, but power of suggestion is easily used to cure one leg being longer than the other. I've seen in many times before done by television faith healers, they tell the person their leg will grow and suddenly they feel like their leg is equal.

I have no problem with the concept of faith healing, but you should learn to recognize the difference between healing by circumstance, healing caused by power of suggestion or mind over matter, and actual faith healing.

  • Suggestion is not at all as powerful as people think.

Heidi Baker and her children have raised more than 100 dead people.

Suggestion is not going to work on dead people, still they are alive now!

  • How do you know suggestion isn't going to work on dead people? People still have active brain waves for up to 36 hours after death you know.

  • Some of them were already smelling. They had been dead for some time...

  • Well, I'd like to see documentation for something like that, but for now all I can do is take your word for it.

  • Perhaps there is something on her site about it? Heidi Baker IRIS MINISTRIES

  • What on earth has "positive" energy got to do with science???

  • Nothing, but science is sort of a drag when it comes to any sort of bodily energy. I have an irrational belief in energies. But maybe it's not irrational and we just don't have the tools to measure it?

  • "Then I met the Holy Spirit, and now He guides me through life, and heals about 25% of the people that I pray for!!!"

    -

Will you pray for my friend's foot to grow back or will you leave that to science, logic and reason?

What about the bad things caused by nature, since you attribute natural laws to your god?

  • I have seen legs grow during prayer, it is very common.

    I have seen tumors vanish.

Jesus is still woking the same miracles today as He did 2000 years ago.

As for the bad things caused by nature. Our disobedience to God causes many thing to go very wrong.

  • No, tony was not possessed by evil spirits. He was mentally disturbed. Which is actually VERY common amongst followers of faith. You need to be in need of guidance usually to even accept it and give your life for it.

It's usually just the weak who follow. Tony, and you.

  • How would you know???

People who have no spiritual lives, always say what you claim "mentally disturbed", becuse it's an easy way out.

I know for a fact that he had problems with spirits, if I had prayed for him, he would have been set free. All people can be set free from what you call "mental disorders", in Jesus name. I see it all the time. (if they actually "want" to be set free).

  • You are trying to make a claim about NOT being the easy way out when all you do is god did everything good, and evil spirits or satan did everything bad?

Do you even comprehend what you preach? It's insane, buddy. It's the biggest cop out in history.

hey did you know, I got word from god himself. he told me that it's not actually evil spirits. It's the new world order reptilian illuminati freemasons with a super ray beam that is messing people's brains.

  • We all live the same life. You can be happy in the materialistic world, or explore the wonderous spiritual properties of the human body and mind, as religious people do...

However, you don't have to have some spiritual superiority complex. Is that really christ-like? If you're an example of being in touch with christ, I don't want to be part of that. You put off a negative attitude, yet claim to love<3 everyone. But, I don't believe your claim. You have to know someone to love them.

  • I was never happy in the materialistic world. I always had a longing for "something" more. I was 21 when I finally met that "something", His name is the Holy Spirit. He changed my heart, and made me love people. First I received Jesus into my heart, then He introduced me to the Holy Spirit. HS is now with me everywhere I go. He heals people through me. Anybody who knows HS can do what I do. I'm not special in any way. God loves all of you, that's why Jesus died for YOUR sins. Just receive Him...

  • I don't believe we have the same concept of love. I have compassion for all, love for those who I know personally - family, friends, acquaintances, pets. My point, is love really the right word? Only god can love everyone, as god is the only one who knows everyone.

I believe religions experiences are resulted from tapping into the spiritual plane or the force of synchronicity within the universe. Do you think other religions are inferior? Or just not right for you personally?

  • Comment removed

  • Personally I don't believe in religions, I think they are disgusting. What we need is a personal relationship with God. I got that after I received Christ into my life. He introduced me to the Helper, the Holy Spirit. So when I pray for people, I ask the Holy Spirit to heal them in Jesus' name, and He does it.

If I have a friend or two with me who also know Him, then I can ask Jesus directly, because He is present whenever two or more are gathered in His name.

    Religion never saved a soul.

  • Well, I don't think religions are discusting. Just cultural interpretations of the one divine truth. What do you think of other Gods or prophets people experience? For example, Zoroastrians who personally experience Ahura Mazda(God), or experience the prophet Zoroaster guiding them directly?

  • When I met the Holy Spirit, He told me that all religions are the work of lucifer.

All other so called god's are just evil spirits fooling people into believing in them. That's what evil spirits (fallen angels) do. Their job for lucifer is to confuse people, so that people will die in their sins and go to Hell.

Jesus is the "only" name on earth by which a man can be saved.

That's what I found out after I was saved by Jesus. I had no help in my search for truth, I looked for Jesus by myself.

  • I would have to agree all religions are the work of evil overall, but as a taoist I believe I believe in yin and yang, there's yin within yang and yang within yin. I do not believe all religions inherently work for evil.

I don't believe other religions gods are evil spirits. Spirits maybe, but I see no reason to call them evil. I believe that by good actions you praise God(the positive creative force) and by evil actions you praise Lucifer/evil(the negative destructive force).

  • What do you think about people who get visited by angels? How can one tell the difference between an angel of god and a fallen angel?

  • I just heard the news as well. This video was still very clear in my head and at the time thought wow, real words of wisdom, but I doubt tony will listen to them. He didn't, and saddly, he took a life in the process of taking his own. The thing is, imagine if an atheist did this, the news would practically never die down from it.

Maybe if this single christian could have taken advice from an atheist, two more people would still be alive. The whole thing is sad.. very sad...

  • I've only just heard the very sad news, and I felt compelled to watch this video once again. Wonderfully compassionate, kindly advice, and who knows who it has impacted.

What a world, what a world.

  • So much more the perfection of nature. Abuse a dog enough, for long enough, and it will bite every hand. Or maybe there was something chemically wrong from the beginning. We'll never know. Asia and her family have ALL my sympathy, yet, somehow, I still have some for the sick dog.

  • ...Phil, do you believe that your belief is better than everyone elses?

What grounds do you claim this on? Simply because you can add 2 n 2 together? Or do you have any actual experience, atheism is the lack of an experience with God, so atheism isn't in any way an intelligent belief seeing as it is a disbelief which requires no intelligence at all.

  • The answer to your first question is, "no." The answer to your second question is, "I just said I didn't." The answer to your third question is, "What the fuck?" The answer to your fourth question is, "Everyone has experiences, even a baby. The important things is how you explain them and the reliability of the evidence upon which you base your explanation." And it DOES take intelligence to see through Santa. Dumber kids will believe longer. Others just say they believe not to upset the kids.

  • Actually it takes another person telling you what they believe, and if you have a weak will then you'll likely believe what they say for example that Santa doesn't exist, so it takes no amount of intelligence more so than a complete surrender of your own mind to somone else, this is how people get manipulated.

  • No. The WEAK willed person will stop beliebving in Santa just because they are told he doesn't exist. The rational person will listen to the arguments from both sides then weigh the evidence for themselves. BUT the numbers of the believers and the strength of their own personal desire to believe can screw with even a rational person.

  • Thats what I said, weak willed people only believe in what is told to them, in which atheists do all the time, an intelligent atheist will always asnwer "I don't know" to wether God exists or not, and until they have the personal experience, they may never know till the end.

Who are you to say what is rational?

The world doesn't revolve around how you want it to be.

  • But thats under the assumption that agnostics are only following what they've been told, and NOT that they've weighed the evidence and concluded that there is no exact way to figure out an answer.

Frankly, I think it's the other way around. It's funny how these arguments can swing both ways.

  • This is an awesomely sweet video even if you are christian you can hear the genuine care in this guy's voice. Good job man :)

  • I'm an atheist...for the record.

  • This was the first video i thought of when I heard. I remember thinking that you showed uncommon restraint when you made this. My heart goes out to both the families.

  • you do realize craps coming out of your mouth

  • ...and I thought this stuff was profound back then. Yikes!

  • This is scaringly accurate.

  • Well, Tony's blown his brains out and took some poor girl with him. Turns out he was extremely depressed and was supposed to be taking medication.

  • Yeah. I just found out an hour ago. We'll cure cancer LONG before we can cure mental illness.

  • Is this serious?

  • What do you mean?

  • that's because...Jesus IS Satan, you moron...

  • My respect Phil. You have a great sense of responsibility. Tony is better now...

  • I think that what's bothering Tony isn't Jesus or Scripture or even Satan. It's his failure to realize that no one is perfect and that being a Christian or a "good person" generally DOESN'T involve conquering one's lustful, angry, or devious feelings. It involves putting them in perspective and realizing that they're aren't the be-all and the end-all of human existence. Wanting to be totally rid of them is a sin--the sin of pride and presumption.

  • Its you that doesn't get what he is saying. He never said that you you had to be a perfect Christain, it has nothing to do w/ perfection as you put words into his mouth. Its that what Christainity claims sinful is what is making the so called "sin" more attractive, which is what is tempting you to commite it rather than if you didn't think it was a sin. Its irony.

  • I know that evolution was my salvation. Once I began to grasp it, the walls of Christianity began to crumble. I'm not saying one leads to the other, but for me personally it was a eureka moment more powerful than any religious experience I've ever had-- and I've had ones that left me in tears. The moment I saw the universe for what it really was, I felt calm and blissful.

It's sort of ironic and a bit embarrassing to make it sound like a religious experience, but there you go.

  • But accepting the truth of evolution STRENGTHENED my faith, Rage. You can't generalize.

  • I didn't generalize. I explained what happened with me. I even said, "I'm not saying one leads to another." Please read the post you're replying to in the future.

  • It's so true. Case in point. When it's late at night, and all the shops are shut preventing me from restocking my empty fridge - I actually feel thirstier, hungrier. As soon as they open again, and I know I can restock at my leisure the appetite settles down.

As soon as you know you can't do something, it becomes all the more appealing. It's why the temptation in Eden will forever be a deeply immoral story, because you essentially have God setting up a temptation he knows won't be avoided.

  • noone really knows if there is a god, jesus, or satan. there is no real physical evidence, but thats the fun of it, not knowing whats out there, and using your imagination. thats what its all about. people have a choice to believe in anything they want, but its people that have closed-minds that start controversey and become a religious-supremacist. its the same principle as racism. not makin fun of there skin, but their own personal beliefs, which is all they have when everything else is gone.

  • Just because there is no God, or because people disagree, that's no antimotivational sentiment for humans not trying to convey their epiphanies to each other! You're question could be easily restructed as "Just because unicorns and dragons aren't real, why bother painting them." Because it's fucking wonder of human expression of course! Good lord, for people who claim to be so spiritual, you seem to be devoid of any self initiated soul.

  • I feel you in many ways. I've had these same questions and ideas for some time as well. My question to you is....if there is no God than why make these videos? What does happen when we die? Thanks for your time.

  • I'm afraid I'll answer with a question of my own.

If you had friend who said he had a fairy on his shoulder, that spoke to him, that told him his life on Earth was just a prelude to Fairy-Heaven, and DEMANDED that the "fairy theory" was taught in science class, and didn't trust ANYONE who didn't proclaim to have a fairy on their shoulder too, and refused to vote for a politician who didn't make the same proclamation, would you stay silent?

  • No, I would not stay silent. 1 yr ago I would have asked him to share some o' that majic pot with me.lol. Actually, I try my best not to listen to any human at this point. Although, I do feel inclined sometimes to jump on yt and make waves. I stay away from churches as they seem to go totally against what I believe. I'm still trying to figure things out. I would really like to know your thoughts on death. I don't have time to watch all your videos so a quick answer will suffice. Thanks alot.

  • Funnily enough, I've had a lot of PMs about death lately so I already have a video made. I was wondering whether I should post it (not exactly a laugh a minute subject). But, seeing as the requests will probably continue, I suppose a "heavy" video might be of use to someone. Video on death coming right up!

On the death subject, I found the crucial question that needed answering, honestly, was, "Am I an animal?" Investigate that for a year or so.

  • That would be nice to have. I think death is the birth of religion since that is the aim of all religion...controlled life, controlled afterlife.

  • answer to shanesongs32 I think when we die we go back were we came from the earth, I think cause nature gives us so much in the end we give back. so maybe were all part of a recycling proses who knows.

  • I pondered the same thought but if that is true then what is the best life for your body after death? wHat I am asking iyia777 is that if you practice enclosed burials, or creamation, how does one return to earth? Everytime I see roadkill I wonder how the hell does it return to the earth if road is under them and any animal that tries to treat it self to that wonderful oppertunity is smooshed.. well dead too. I think the universal idea of recycling is wonderful, heavenly even.

  • That was beautiful. I only wish I could believe it wasn't wasted. I have trouble picturing this very heartfelt message doing anything but being dismissed out of hand. Still, kudos to you and all those who attempt to make our lives better.

  • Nobody can force themselves to believe something which they don't inherently believe . If an atheist tells himself to believe in god, because he has nothing to lose (Pascals wager), then he is assuming that your omniscient god cannot spot a liar! One would assume in the very unlikely event of there actually being a god, that it would prefer an honest mistake to a blatant lie.

  • so WHAT ?

If religious ppl r wrong, then think about all the lives they have RUINED, because of religion. Think about all the young minds wich is messed up bcause of the guilt u FORCE them to have. Think about all the children wich u scare half to death with your horror stories about hell and fire. SHAME on u !

And now u r trying thwe same 'tactic' on us atheists ?

'what if u r wrong my atheist friend.....'

  • stand back and allow me to demonstrate the perfect solution to pascals wager...

STFU njac1946 you superficial christian slime.

  • Does this guy like hearing the sound of his own voice or what?

    Does he take himself seriously?.....ditto.

Does he see himself as being a cross between Freud and the Pope?.....likely.

Would he consider changing his brand of cigarettes to ones that can actualy be smaoked and enjoyed........No.

    These ones look more trandy!

  • its a spliff tard.

  • This makes some really important points and is put in a really compassionate manner. I agree with what you put in you "about" box. Our beliefs directly affect our perception of the world and therefore our reaction to it. Tony's conditioning(learned thoughts)played a big role in his pain and his self worth.

  • Great Video. I've only just come across your videos but you tslk a lot of sense. I did a lot of stupid things when I was younger purely because they were forbidden and I got a thrill out of breaking the "rules". I think if we explained more and forbade less the world would be a better place.

  • So where did tony go?

  • This is another great video. It's a shame that Tony most likely won't watch it. If he did, and actually listened to your words, I think he could learn a lot about himself.

  • Great vid Phil! I think its like bashin yo head gainst the wall tho. I recently expressed my doubts in the authenticity of the Bubble to a life-long friend who believes it to Jehovahs Witness proportions. His words were, "You either believe in the truth of the gospels or you are Anti-Christ." So anti him Our friendship was not enough for him to agree to differ, either I recanted or we never speak again. It literally tore me apart, but I love the guy, and so I led him to believe that I recanted.

  • 1. It's a cigarette.

    2. The Bible may well have got him into this mess, his constant confusion (he's been reading it since he was 12 and look at the state he's in). PERHAPS it is time for him to "get real".

    3. You're right that he needs a shrink or at least a few real life friends (that he won't get while he thinks as he does at the moment).

    4. I could be wrong.

  • hey phil ..how many packs do u smoke per day..u remind me of my childhood steam train

  • "4. I could be wrong."

lol. You are very wise and patient. Great vids. Thanks for uploading.

  • Phil, don't expect your hormone levels to drop to a background hum until you're a lot older than I am (65). They haven't dropped to a hum. They're still a chorus. Only now there's @#$% little I can do about them! ;o(

  • Damn! I was almost looking forward to a return to a childlike state. Thanks for the warning, Larry. I won't delete my porn just yet.

  • You'll always have viagra and prostitution.

  • I enjoyed that. It's interesting to think about different people and how the things they believe in affect their perception of everything.

As for Tony, I feel a little sorry for him, he sounds so intensely confused in that video. His video reminds me of the erection scene from the movie Bubble Boy (obscure referene?)

  • This is a much better video than the angry video would have been. Kudos.

  • As one could have guessed, your good intentions and good will were misplaced/betrayed. Thetruthtony has made a hateful video about homosexuals. At around 1:50 he also claims that (as of statistics) homosexuals are prone to pedophilia, and that they commit the most horrible crimes. I hope, I'm sure, the video will be gone soon. Violence takes many forms, and his is one. His problem is not even Christianity, which is just a form, it's the hate and deep sadness he cultivates within himself.

Then maybe the good intentions and good will towards him are not misplaced at all.

They are, because phil was suggesting that he reconsiders what he believes. I assert that whatever he choses to believe, it'll be ad usum for his inner hatred. I don't think he even has the capacity to appreciate phil's good intentions for what they are. TTT was not asking for help, he was just seeking redemption from his friends, so that he could start again doing and thinking what he likes most.

  • I agree - atheism is one of the best things anyone can do for humanity.

  • Thank you so much. Thank you.

  • Poor Tony. I think if more atheists took pity on him instead of just laughing at him, maybe he'd be a little less feral. Tony is a product of the 'cross' all theists, and especially Christians, must bear - they will never be 'perfect'. They suffer all their lives with guilt they will never be rid of. They will always be full of that self-loathing. They will always be chained by their faith. People like Tony will never leave their faith behind because they are too ignorant and too afraid. Sad.

  • I've watched Tony since his first fiery tantrum. I thought he was a sick, deranged whacko. Time passed, and I surmised he might be an intentional parody (secret atheist) endeavoring to ridicule staunch believers. I conjectured that no one could be so mentally decrepit. I'm still undecided. In any event, he's classic manic-depressive (bi-polar). I'm starting to lean back towards seeing him as completely broken and deranged. (Could he be just an act?)

  • I'd bet quite a bit that he's genuine.

  • Brilliant vid.

  • You would press the red button?!?!?! I am so glad to be free of that stupid button, I could never bear to press it again.

That said, THIS was well said, I felt the return of the common sense, the gentleness, that little bit of magic that makes you YOU and I loved it. :D

  • I said (something like) pressing the red button to get rid of "unwelcome" thoughts. The vast majority of my sexual thoughts are not only welcome but invited. :D

  • That may very well be the most thoughtful response video I've ever seen. It's a real pity that TTT won't hear it, as he'll only see the invisible horns on your head while he watches.

  • I thought I'd hidden them rather well. :)

  • Very nice vid, Phil.

  • Phil, you don't need to make "pwnage" videos for me to like them. As long as you're honest about your opinions.

  • fuck, i wish you lived in pasadena, california where i live

you would be an awesome friend and i could hook you up with some job at jpl

  • Do NOT say THAT!!!!!!!!!

    JPL?????? Oh my LAWD!

I'd clean the toilets there and be the happiest guy you ever saw with a mop and bucket. :D

  • You know it's going to be good when he apologizes to the subscribers. ;)

  • Great vid, Phil! I hope Tony finds it within himself to suspend judgment just for a little while, as he listens to this vid.

  • Poor Tony. He's mad as a cut snake.

Suppression of sexual urges has lead the Catholic Church to become by far the world's most prolific generator of deviant sexual criminals.

And its all blamed on Satan.

Your right Phil, its not Satan thats messing with Tony's head.

  • Matured response Phill! A bit Freudian eh?

  • The maze is so complex and everyone has to find their own way. Sometimes someone gets so deep it's hard to imagine how they will EVER figure their way out. This seems to be one such situation.

  • Great stuff Phil.

  • Apology accepted, but don't let it happen again. :D As for your message to tony, he probably turned it off as soon as he heard "atheist" and to say that atheism could be helpful- well he would probably want to kill you if he left the video that long.

  • Why were most 70's porn mags to be found under hedges?

  • because they were filled with bush

  • why would your subscribers be pissed? sure we were expecting some action, but i would say its just as good to see you genuinely trying to help someone!

  • Great job Phil. I really hope he takes that message to heart. Sad character.

  • Apologies for double post

  • I absolutely agree with your comments in the sidebar.

I wonder however, and challenge anyone to look into it for themselves, whether that statement can be pushed any further in the direction that you started moving it, and if so, then what does it begin to look like?

  • An apology is neither necessary nor accepted. I felt the same way after seeing a video where he addresses lucaslabrador about how he's scared of going to hell and he wants his help.

  • I retract my "mad as a bag of cats" remark about thetruthtony48219, he is instead, I think, disturbed and confused. Preacher189 on the other hand...

  • why would you want to press that red button?

  • Sometimes ya wanna be able to concentrate. ;)

  • Much Love To Yah PHIL!!!!!

  • Ditto big guy. Fix that cam. :)
