Oh man, tell me about it! I'm pretty open with singing around other people, and I've had people be very nasty to me just for singing--like they're embarrassed for me. Despite "homo" jokes these supposedly macho guys throw around, their fear of standing out in the crowd shows quite an opposite reality of who the bigger men are.

You just gotta do what you love and give those people the "fuck you" look with a wry smile while doing it.
