  • this reminds me of the movie stepfords wives..well her look anyway. Awesome song! better than any of the crap out these days.

  • i wore out 10 copies of this 45 as a kid .

  • Es la que canta Luis Miguel!!! Ahora te puedes marchar

  • WOW! This Song Is So BEAUTIFUL! Without Doubt A Timless 60's Classic And Dusty's First Solo Single Too And What A Cracker It Is, It Makes Me Kinda Sad To Watch Her Sing This With So Much Energy & Vigor And To Think She Left This World Way Too Soon At The Age Of Only 59 But She Will Live Forever In Our Hearts GOD BLESS! You Sweety xx

  • That was the conservative style back in the day - that's what the 60s Revolution was all about - not bowing to standards, but trying to go out on a creative limb. It's a shame that many performers went the sloppy or weird route. Do we really want a band to be all in uniforms again?

  • this song is just wishful thinkiing, something like this is a fairy tail

  • The sound of her voice has an almost healing quality. Lifts my spirit just looking and listening to her! I pity any kid who wasn't a teenager in the Sixties. Best of times.

  • Actually, she would have a career in any event; clothes, make-up, fireworks, wild animals whatever, here talent would "out". Same with Pet Clark, Patsy Cline and Astrud Gilberto to name a few more. Talent is talent, no matter how it gets packaged, these fine singers would have gotten noticed!

  • A very talented vocalist.

  • If Dusty Springfield was starting her music career today, no one would take her seriously unless she took her clothes off and paraded around in underwear. It's a shame what music has become in that respect.

  • I just love her voice very natural and she is a lovely lady!

  • give me the 60s any day, forget about being old fasioned, we were there.

  • No computers, no gimmicks, just brilliant singing.......stunning.

  • It says all I want to the one I do love.

  • It doesn't get much better than this.

  • No wonder they say… oldies, but goodies… oh yeah!!!

  • I enjoyed the wonderful song and the old memories.

    --------Ellen

  • She kinda has a wacky performing style... but I guess that's what made her unique

  • i just wish i could find a women like her i love when women dress like a woman not a slut but a real woman i guess i am oldfashion

  • @richardlee1970 then we should meet, because I am that type, and I can't seem to find a single man state-wide, perhaps, East-Coast of the U.S.-wide, that feels that way anymore. It's sad, really. Please continue to be an old fashioned gentleman. There seriously aren't enough left in the world. :)

  • @richardlee1970 Not really, its nice to see a woman who can dress sexy and classy, like our Dusty here, without looking like a broken down crack whore prostitute.

  • @richardlee1970 your not old fashioned, you just have good taste

  • @TheJuicyfruitx thank you and i bet you do as well

  • @richardlee1970 Old fashioned is great. I am and I love it!

  • @richardlee1970

I am with you my friend! i am a woman, & happen to be 55. The girls these days leave nothing to the imagination! That's half the fun! I will leave you this pearl of wisdom, "If you want to be treated like a LADY, act like one!"

  • @richardlee1970 It'll break your heart to hear that she was gay, huh?

  • Great track - the worlds first gay anthem?

  • I ran across a CD of her best songs, my son and always a room full of friends on the weekends, My teenagers played it drove around town having fun just like we did 40 years ago. great voice and so many good songs - I was surprised his friends really liked it-that was nice to know. Have you noticed, flat records are coming back, and the prices are high.

  • 100 000 view are just from me <3

  • @Shvelidzem *views

  • She is having the time of her life performing this song! Her happiness here is absolutely infectious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love the little dance she does from 1:27 to 1:48....so cool!!!!

  • She is so beautiful and I'm 26 and adore this oldies song!

  • @ooolaiaa I'm 16 and I love this song.

  • Great song, thanks for posting. It's nice to hear music from a time when the #1 requirement to be a famous female pop singer was to be a great singer. Pat Benatar was/is a great singer. She was followed by Madonna who I guess we can blame for f**king up the great singer requirement.

  • She sounds great. I've loved this song since I was a kid. Still do.

  • Dusty,Thanks for the Beautiful Warm memories.amen

  • WOW DUSTY IS FANTASTIC,DON,T HAVE SINGERS LIKE THIS NOWADAYS.

  • Just love those upbeat love songs back then ;P im 31 and i love this her personalitie in it so cute so bouncey

  • MAMIS KORASON, I ONLY WANT TO BE WITH YOU FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!! Hu guaiya hao, hago ha solo!!

  • Our Dusty, forever!

  • ahhh, women....I heard they were something like Dusty....what happened to them???

  • The most awesomest video on the 'tube.

  • Take that gaga lady.

  • @EnochHW LOL No thanks!

  • whatsthisall ----- thats ok mate i am a lesbian as well hahahahaha

  • This is one of my favorite songs, I just love it! Thank you, Dusty.

  • Dusty was class 100% I met her once at a concert and she was a true and proper lady! I told her she was greatness and she gave me a hug. And she smelled good too!! She is missed but we have her wonderful music!

  • Love Dusty.....she even did this better than Bay City Rollers...suzi....after all she was first!!

  • the best music! =)

  • Dusty your music will live on forever.

  • There's no one else like our girl Dusty.

  • Goosebumps !!

  • Great singer from a wonderful era! Clean, decent easy listening! Now that's what I call music! Too good to be forgotten! Though it's not my decade I truly appreciate these classics. They don't make these oldies but goodies nowadays....

  • Les surfs or Dusty, cual es la canción original?

  • The first time I heard this was somewhere around 1963. I was maybe 9 years old and have always loved her voice. I never saw who she was until maybe 10 years ago. Her voice was always in the background somewhere while I grew up, like a lot of the music in the '60s. I had always thought she was a sexy Black lady and when I learned she was white I was floored. I knew nothing about her except her voice!

  • @jakestud2007

My experience with Dusty was the exact same. Her songs and voice is all we knew and loved.

I thought She was American my entire youth!

  • ARLISS!...This song made me watch that show!

  • great memories about this song, won dance trophy at school leaving prom doing the chacha ,loved dusty ever since,

  • Fab

  • this was song live folks be very very impressed

  • @bobbollu - Actually, Dusty is lip-synching to a studio production audio tape on a British TV telecast. It’s easily discernable b/c @ 1:23 there is a unexpected glitch on the audio tape causing Dusty to speed up her lip-synching to cover for the flaw; this is why she visibly strains forward. Upon finishing the verse @ 1:27, she slaps her hands together as her face is suddenly gripped w/ anger at the production technician off stage while she turns away into the instrumental & her short trot.

  • @IAPETUSGIANTS very good pick up on the lip synching. I pride myself on being able to tell. What threw me off was that when artists lip-synch, they usually do so to the ORIGINAL record not an alternate recording.

So again good work on that and believe me it wasn't easily discernible by most people, its that you have

    a talent for spotting it.

  • @bobbollu - Lol - thanks... don't get me wrong, I L!O!V!E! Dusty... it's just I was surprised and amused as you were when I figured out she was lip-synching for this live TV telecast, perhaps to make sure the gig went without a hitch, or perhaps an orchestra was not available for the show... the pop stars back in the 60s often did this for smaller budget shows were Top 40s Hits were played, especially the teen dance shows like American Bandstand, Shindig, Hullabaloo, etc. and the British shows.

  • @IAPETUSGIANTS Hello again, I enjoy making DVD'S from live performances of various groups or singers

mostly from the sixties. My rule is I don't record it if it is not live. So Dusty got by my "censors". Still a good performance and different than the original record so I will keep it. Are you british or American?

  • @bobbollu - Hi... That makes sense to me. I grew up on this type of music in the 60s. Today's popular music is so devoid of melody & rythym to the point that none of it is memorable & none of it has a catchy tune that ruminates in your head; and certainly people are not walking around humming any of it, like in former decades. It's a shame. I live in So Cal in the U.S. & I'm writing and creating a 60s musical with 60s Pop-type songs which is why I stumbled onto this video on YouTube.

  • @IAPETUSGIANTS hi again very cool about the musical, I wish you success with it. My brother lives in Sandiego

will be happy to share my thoughts and get your thoughts on this music which I fell is the strongest decade for music possible ever. Considering groups like the Supremes, Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys Four Tops,

later the Doors , Cream all got there start in the 60's

  • Fell in love with her at 8 years old, and still am. Never be another Dusty xxx

  • FRAMÅT MALMÖ

  • RIP Dusty. We lost you too soon...:(

  • I WANNA BE WITH DUSTY !! MAYBE TODAY,SOMEBODY THINKS THE END OF THE WORLD IS TODAY MAY 21ST..IF IT IS ..I WANNA WAKE UP AT A DUSTY CONCERT !!

  • shes a great singer..not a very good lip syncer...

  • HOOTIE!!

  • How can anybody not like this? Brilliant singing and nothing more.

  • I love this song. And....I think it is so cute how she dances around. She needs no props only the bright light to sing & dance in! Go DUSTY!

  • what a powerfull voice

  • @Fluidmachine Hell yes they do!

  • R.I.P.. DUSTY Your music will live on for EVER!!!!!!!!!

  • def in the top 5 of all time female singers. What a voice and she was sexy as hell!

  • Lady Gaga should see it and learn!!! So True ;-)

  • Still her best song! This came out when I first started high school. I ran out to buy it, and wore it out on the turntable. The live version presented here, is almost as good as the original recording! I've already played it a half dozen times. What show is it from? Ed Sullivan?

Lady Gaga should see it and learn!!!

  • perfect mas buen perfecta

  • rip dusty waht a lady she is x

  • 4 people doesn't wanna be with Dusty

  • Dusty rules.

  • Love this song - and this is a wonderful version.

  • What a voice....flawless.

  • VOLBEAT!!!!

  • She was great; this is my 2nd favorite Springfield song behind You Didn't Have to Say I Love You.

  • For years and years I thought this was a Goffin-King composition. It was only a few yeas ago I found out it wasn't. But it certainly has that "feel". Maybe it was the times - the early 60's.

  • VOLBEAT FTW

  • WOW she dresses like a real woman sings like one too dam i am 45 years too late

  • @cypruskev - Isn't it nice and refreshing to see a female vocalist respect herself by not having all her body parts hanging out like a French whore for the entire world to see, and instead, put all the emphasis on her SINGING VOICE and musical talent because she is something called a "SINGER", instead of camouflaging the LACK of talent with a circus act of distracting and unrelated smoke and mirrors, like the talentless female sluttish "singers" (cough) do today.

  • @IAPETUSGIANTS Double-true. Who would you rather watch dance and sing - Dusty or any one of the goobers who pass today as "performers"?

  • Amen to that. Dusty could exude sex but style and grace. Few, if any, can pull it off so well. Her moves, her facial expressions, she was the entire package. That hot siren Pia Toscano would do herself a major favor by watching Dusty in action on the grand stage.

  • @cypruskev and the wrong sex,she was a lesbian:)

  • i learnt this song in year 2... i dont know why but its stayed with me till now... :) its lovley xx

  • i love this song ! sob !

  • OK people this might seem a little strange and I'm not stoned / drunk..nothing like that, but on my computer screen Dusty seems like the perfect little ballerina doing a live mike version of what I think is her best song...What can I say but I'm in love. :) Almost like a TV version of Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone ...RIP Dusty you made my day.

  • This song is so cute! :)

  • everytime i watch this video i miss her a lot...

  • super sexy dusty

  • That's when singers were high on talent and low on visual distraction. Now it's the other way around.

  • haha gotta love dusty

  • dusty was the best rip but her tunes will live on go girl

  • I moved to Urmston from Philly in 1966 at age 15. Before long I fancied a young bird, the younger sister of an older mate, who bore more than a passing resemblance to Dusty, right down to the flipped blond hair and the black eyeshadow. I didn't half fancy her, but being so young, shy, inexperienced, and stupid, I was intimidated by her beauty and she just slipped away. Oh, Lynne Darbyshire... Where are you now? The talk of Dusty's secret sexuality only made her more attractive to me somehow!

  • @JesseJamesNaughton Ain't you heard of Facebook, dude? Go lookin' before it's too late! Remember, I said lookin', not stalkin'.

  • @toycollector10

ha ha ha. that was so long ago. The comment was rhetorical, but thanks for the tip.
