the first trick was easy it was just a drop table with mirrors to make it look like it was not a drop table. the second one it was ofcoarse a fake body and head whitch is why they cut to a wide shot . but how they switch from a human to a dummy is crazy but nice.

@patron7054 Richiardi was famous for that. Whenver he did I trick like cutting somebody in half, or cutting off a limb, etc, he wouldn't "clean up" so to speak until the audience left. The idea was to make people wonder if he had successfully performed the illusion, or was trying to play off accidentally killing his assistant on stage.

People annoy me when they say magic of fake. WE KNOW! Doesn't mean anything, it's about the entertainment. Most movies are fake, but that doesn't mean people won't watch them just because it's unrealistic to say there are such warriors as "Jedi" or that a cyborg going back in time to kill the leader of a war against machines that apparently would've happened by now. Whether it's fake or not means nothing, just the entertainment value.
