Man, tears flow from my eyes when I hear testimonies because we ALL go through much and we believe that something is wrong with us; were crazy, sick, mentally ill, sexually cursed, fat, ugly, skinny.... and what ever else but God embraces us and wipes his blood across all of our insecurities and mistakes and they are no longer! And then, we can talk about it with ease, happy that God free'd us.
...many years ago i was in the dire need and position of a conversation with pastor george houston of colorado springs colorado who spoke to me the Word of The Lord God as it did then greatly concern me... he spoke of the necessity of accountability and the years following i would forego profound and deserved chastening by God and mine enemies of my flesh and soul as they were for a time permitted by God to have held me (too justly deserved). Now well taught of "accountability and transparency"

How do u want him to act? I just think Pastor Wess is a laid back, country man. I'm glad that he shares his testimony cause some are too embarrassed to tell where they came from. And he's not just talking he is being active in his ministry, helping others. No matter how people act someone will always be offended. Maybe his joyful expressions are about where he came from and where he is now in his Christian faith, he's just being honest.

Most people try to be so superspiritual and never reach anyone because people feel as if they don't meet God's criteria, which isn't true. We all know that God meets us where we are.
He has to let someone know whom probably doesn't feel as though they have a way out. It's easy to just talk about the good but the bad lets someone else know that they have a hope. SO that's your personal opinion drroberson4.
