I love Panic! and I always will, and I love The Young Veins too, even though they're different to what I'd usually listen to. People should stop criticizing The Young Veins. I've been on the official video for 'Change' and there's horrible comments there. It's been Two years since they split. Get over it.

@huntergruntert123 A hiatus is basically where you go on a break for a unknown period of time. Lots of bands have done this. There's no telling if The Young Veins will start back up, but I certainly hope so. They had amazing potential & it sucks when bands that are super talented go on a break.

So spencer and ryan talked it through and finally came to a conclusion that they should all go on a musical excursion and take a break from the band. So ryan and jon went off to develop their new found musical interess to pursue the young veins together. And that was when brendon and spencer realized that they were still keen on keeping panic alive. And in doing that, they still have the fueled by ramen contract whereas ryan and jon do not. It’s gaining them more publicity and fame.
Ryan did too, write majority of the songs on both albums. He provided the lyrics while everybody else helped compose the record and whatever. And that was a plus side because they were so creative and distinctive. Brendon DID only write 2 songs in pretty odd.
By the end of all the pretty. odd hub hub, ryan and brendon began to develop different musical styles and interests. And in an interview, spencer said that it got so bad that they were beginning to drift apart with ryan and jon.

Ryan and spencer began playing music together in 9th grade. They later invited brent to join their duo and brent eventually introduced them to brendon. Ryan initially was the lead vocalist for the group, but after hearing brendon sing back-up during rehearsals, they unanimously decided to move him to the lead singing post.

@iluvwafflesss I have to disagree. I can tell that there was some conflict in musical direction. It was almost as though it was Brendon and Spencer vs Ryan and Jon. Brendon and Spencer were going more towards a techno, modern-pop type sound while Ryan and Jon were leaning more toward relaxed, Beatle-like music. Both sides are great, but they don't need to be battling it out for control over one band.

I love both bands and I don't care what people say. I will miss Ryden, but Brendon is good on his own and so is Ryan. They're both capable of many many things. And despite their music being so different I just can't stop listening to both of the bands :D

I honestly love this.
I love panic! Too. I thought of it like I got my upbeat tones from brendon and Spencer (fever you can't sweat out) and the slower stuff from well the young veins. (like northern downpour)
I think if it makes brendon, ryan, Spencer, & Jon happy it's okay. :)

@anortherndownpour Maybe but it just sounds like one of the songs in the last cd they made with panic at the disco I just can't put my finger on what song. I think it is the part close to the beging that sounds familiar but thats about it. They also sound like another band too Vampire weekened except the The young viens are a bit more mellow.

I however, think that for him to be so hurtful to her, by cheating on her (yes I mean Keltie) Makes "A Feaver You Can't Sweat Out" 1/2 a lie, because he knows how it feels to be cheated on, and he has a mouth that can speak. All he had to say was "No" but he didn't and opted to think with his dick, rather then his head. Especially when it was Kelties birthday, that he cheated on her.

But everything has to end, and now Keltie is stronger then ever and rocking her way through each day with those ballet legs of hers, and Ryan's writing music. I just hope, the next GF Ry get's he doesn't cheat. A Huge part of my early teenagehood got ripd out after I heard that, because I thought of him as some golden god, but now, to me, He's just "Another Guy" Good Music though right? :D
