I got this first, but the speaker were blown on arrival lol. I went back and picked up another brand. Ilive brand...Its much better....It has an equalizer feature for bass, treble, and middle....Anyone know if you can connect a laptop to a soundbar and if so how?

@erikkkherreraa Getting a soundbar is worth it...Its like before you have an HD tv and you dont really care...But then once you have one, you feel like youd be missing out if you didnt lol. Dont get this Vizio though. Get the brand ilive...there also at walmart...same price...much better product.

Cycle the input to input #3 when using optical cable.  Mine was fix this way, hope this helps.

@ Preatoriangaurd2001 I had this sound bar and now have the Boston acoustics one... and the Boston acoustics so blows this vizio bar away in quality of sound. The amount of bass that the little 6.5inch 50 watt powered sub has is amazing, and the mids and highs on the Boston bar are crystal clear always. Send the Boston sound bar back to Boston acoustics to get it fixed. Its like $60 to get it fixed and you will be way happier in the long run. I know I am.

HDMI is an interface used for audiovisual (audio and video) equipment. So it is completely irrelevant mentioning the obvious fact that the VSB200 does not have HDMI inputs because it is not an audio/video interface. Granted there are sound bars that have DVD players built into them which then would carry HDMI input/outputs, but not in this case.

Ummmm! Hate to break this to you, but the reason it doesn't have an HDMI port is that HDMI ports are generally on VIDEO devices. Since this sound bar doesn't have a built in screen - having an HDMI port would really be pointless. HDMI carries the sound and video over a digital connection.
