  • Someone get that message to oliver. Below this one!

  • oilver stone? What happend to these great movies you used to make? We need this stuff at a time like this!!

  • Bet Howard stern got p.o.'d at this film tho its not supposed to be him

  • This is one of the BEST and the INTENSE Oliver Stone movies ... EVER!!!

  • Eric Bogosian was a perfect key in this movie along with the others that he starred in.

  • i had this on VHS and also watched it last night on demand

  • Considering the source material(the murder of Alan Berg, a patriot of what America is all about) This movie is not only Oliver Stone's best flick, but it is a message to the voice of America. Even if it kills us, we need to make our points.

  • this movie explains what trolling is about... seriously i love this movie

  • This movie was so...intense. It had so much emotion and it was shot really well. I especially loved the various camera angles they played up with. All that and a great cast? Damn, I'm happy I watched this film.

  • This is one of my all time favorite motion pictures. Through Barry's disconnection to life- I felt more connected to mine. I learned about the power of the voice, the power of words. Does that make sense?

  • @Branfrancisco

The look on Eric Bogosian's face all through the "Kent" interview is permanently tattoo'd on my brain.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

The book, "Talked to Death" is almost a surreal read in how the author captured how completely out of touch the real life Alan Berg was.

  • This is the most underrated film I can think of because many "underrated" films have cult following or fan groups/clubs. I've never talked to anyone who has seen this film.

  • lol, just a few hours ago I was listening to Michael Savage. I haven't seen this movie but the protagonist sounds just like Dr. Savage.

  • nobody like a smart arse!

  • Oh, the wonderful Jew. Count how many Jews are on the radio in your market. Those who aren't Jews are flaming Zionists. Yet they make the Jew out to be a victim...

  • i like this movie. reminds me of a few radio hosts in pittsburgh.

  • A great movie and it was sad what happened, didn't know it was originally a play.

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Even though he was killed in real life outside his house (the killers followed him from the station downtown to the burbs) this was a huge deal at KOA. When I worked there in the 90's the place was like Ft. Knox. There was even a panic button on the mixing console in the control room. If you hit it, a silent alarm would trigger and the police would be called.

  • @shamantrainer What was so bad about him?

  • I'm old enough to remember when my mother used to listen to him. She loved screaming at the radio when he was on. And we lived in Wyoming.

  • The fact RJ matthews himself was shot down kind of evens things up. Just goes to show there is no freedom without sacrifice.

  • @swastikausa RJ matthews was not shot down he sat in a building and burned alive

  • Oh sure and i suppose hitler killed himself. Its too easy for either of us to judge people and events we haven't lived through. But I think it was a mistake for the denver dj not to practise his second amendment right and arm himself for self defence.

  • @swastikausa RJ matthews death was extremely well documented and parts were caught on TV, read up on it even the people that support RJ matthews agree with what happened. and he shoulda had a gun for sure but what difference would it have made if uve seen the movie

  • what difference ? are you crazy. If alan berg had carried a firearm and been trained to use it like any average israeli he would be alive today.

  • Fuck the neonazis and fuck Alan Berg. Other than his repugnant mouth, I would've killed Berg just for looking like he did.

  • I love these neo nazi cunts who cowardly hide behind a keyboard spewing their far right bile. Just because some nut-job was killed by Police for umm. . . killing other people? Oh, what a cruel world we live in where murderers die too.

  • Should've been played by Dustin Hoffman....seems like a cheap version of him.

  • my high school is doing this for its fall play. but it has be rewritten

  • @greenmetal8000 Oh, please go on. I can't wait to hear this.

  • we talking about berg or robert jay

  • This is one of my favorite movies! I can watch it over over. I wish I could see his play starring Liev Schreiber

  • I love this movie. Oliver Stone's masterpiece.

  • I saw this when I was like, 6 when it was on TV when my dad was asleep, and I've wandered what it was ever since. 0_0

  • Robert J. Mathews R.I.P

  • Never forget Alan Berg! RIP 6-18-84.

  • Btw does anyone know where thay have recordings of Alan berg's show? I looked everywhere and nothing on him. anything much appreciated. thanks

  • Check with KOA, the radio station in Denver where he was on for several years.

  • An excellent film that is one of Oliver Stone's very best, extremely underrated and overlooked.

"Not good enough, folks, you disappoint me again and for that you must be PUNISHED!"

  • soooooo true!

  • did anyone recognize a very young john c. mcginley in there? (dr. cox from scrubs..) briliant actor.

  • This is my favorite oliver stone movie

  • What was Alan Berg actually like. Was he a jerk like people make him out to me.

  • @cappstv me too..

  • really...a movie most people haven't seen...but I highly recommend

  • This is such a good film, on of my all time favs. I host an internet talk radio show so i can really relate!
