@macaca126 You are correct - although - as proved by this video - even if the seeds are fairly dirty they will still run through our oil press. Some of the parts may wear down a little bit quicker - but I've seen our oil press run under extreme conditions and still work very well
With that said - we also sell a seed cleaner that attaches straight into the oil presses. Obviously - we didn't use it on this batch of seeds.
@crowenhaden This is our M70 Oil Press (our only current model - though in the next month we should have two more models on the market - M45 and the M100).
@molinobeer The seed is not grinded - but simply crushed. The seed falls into a screw which drives the seed into a crush plate, where the seed bulids up pressure until the oil is crushed out of it.
Both the oil and the tube is the final product. The oil can be used for a number of uses (biodiesel - waste oil heating - direct consumption) and the 'tube' is a high protein product that can be used to feed cattle.
At current prices of canola seed wouldnt a person be better off selling the seed and then buying diesel fuel ?

You should try and clean the seed as much as possible first. Looks like lots of debris in the batch. Just sayin.

I just don't understand one thing..
Is the seed grinded by the machine? ...and then, pressed to get the oil, finally the seeds comes out in that kind a tube.
Or are the seeds, just pressed, without grind?
The final product is the oil or the tube?
