Nikon D90 is best with showing off its depth of field...not a video like this.....if you wanted good reults when making a action video like this, dont try to make a D90 test video.
Everyone else is talking camera, but I'm eager to know: what's the name of this trail in Golden? I'm moving to the area in 2 months from Seattle and can't wait to ride this one..... Thanks for sharing - great video!
Nice composing/editing, and of course filming. Im saving for my D90 now, but its tempting to get a D80 for a fraction of the cost. Im a fellow biker too but have not been out in quite a while.
do you really love your camera? :-) Imagine if you fall from your bike while carrying it... It´s all for the sake of the art, but... it´s still a new camera.
i´m going to buy one d90. Does it bring a memory card, or do you have to buy it separatly? Thanks.
Sure as a HD video camera. But not as a 12MP still camera that can take many different NIKKOR lens, use Nikon's creative lighting system and can do video in a "stealth" mode. Plus I don't do video enough to care to carry two camera systems, batteries and accessories.
I have the Sanyo HD1010 and there are a few annoyances with it. First, still pictures are washed out. Second, I hate how the camera zooms in once you start recording video. What you see on your LCD screen as you're composing your shot is not what you see when you hit the record button.
Much better in high quality. Try to shoot some video at night or sunset. This camera sensor is better than a consumer level camcorder when it comes to light. I saw footage elsewhere here in and on the web.
how long can you record, dose it recorded in intervals like 5 minute spurts like other cheap cameras or is it continues and the sky is the limit depending on you sd card??
yup u can record upto 5min and i suggest only upto 5min and let it rest for a 3-5min cuz the cam gets pretty hot after a full 5min of D-movie mode recording,..
shut the fuck up your not everybody. what if your someone like me to like SLR photography but is into video as well. just cause you have an opinion doesn't mean you have to press it on everybody.
if you lower the quality to 640x480 (or whatever the close aspect ratio is) you can get up to 20 mins of continual shooting... and the lower quality isn't bad, but it's not 720p
are u sure this is take with d90?

I dunno. Sanyo Xacti doesn't do 24p and doesn't have 1/48th shutter. The Nikon does

The roller shutter problem is evident everywhere. Also your video is blocky. My god what you use to upload or edit this. It stinks.

umm thats cuz your not watching it in high quality

It would've better to test the sound - I am curious about the mono recorder
And also - so you can shoot only 5 minutes of video in HD mode? How long does it take too cool down and shoot again?
xcorpox 3 years ago
You can shoot right away. The built in mic isn't too bad, but no replacement for a plug in mic.

Has america launched the D90?
delta1912 3 years ago
No, america has not launched the D90. Nikon has launched the D90.
is it available in America?
Yes.
But you don't need to ask that question of YouTube, you simply need to walk into your local camera shop.
