@VegensRCows It can't hop... Cause he had only room for 3 battery's... to hop you need far more than 3 battery's and it's using just 1 hydraulic pump for all 4 wheels also cause of lack of space.

So sorry... no hopping...

Ik zit nou ff naar juice vs. airbags te kijken. Kheb er een Suby blokje in hangen bij mij dus moet de wegligging laag nog stug zijn.

Hoe rijdt het met hydraulics? (ik heb voor spindels/verstelbare as.

@DQ81 Deze kever van mijn maatje draait op 3 accu's. Rijdt kwaliteit is ok. Maar omdat deze kever op 2 stikstof bollen rijd ipv 4 wil ie in de bocht wel eens op de hobbels in die bocht een klein sprongetje op zij maken. Maar echt miniem is dat hoor. Mijn auto krijgt er wel 4 en dan is dat niet meer het geval.

Deze kever rijd met een verlaagde vooras en standaard spindels.

@DQ81 Dit systeem rijdt opzich vrij goed alleen kan je beter 4 van die stikstofbollen hebben. (de 2 zwartebollen achter de pomp). maar je heb gewoon vering als normaal. Misschien iets stugger eigenlijk als normaal.

@BrianOConnorPT No dude... These are Dutch classic licence plates. Here we got for Classic cars before the age of about 1980 blue plates. And for newer ones we got Yellow plates. Greetz Rick!

ah ok cuz **-**-RN it's a Portuguese license plate from april 2001 all new or imported cars arround that date came with either RN, RO or RP plate.. and it is the exact same layout..

Very cool, but that setup has to be a bit heavy while driving. I know those beetle motors don't pack too much punch.

In this case it doesn't matter... This bug is powerd by a 1900cc tuned engine that produces 90hp. Not much... I know... But enough for a showcar. ;-)

Hydro is much faster... Ehrrr in the upward motion. And it's faster than air-R.

But airride is much easyer too build on a bug. The air lines are much thinner than hydraulic lines...

And you retain allot better ride quality, and you don't have to lug around massive banks of batteries, pumps, and reservoirs (like on MOST, not all hydro systems). All that is needed is a small air pump, and a tank, and valves. So there is a performance aspect as well. Plus air ride just sounds cool!
