What was awesome, was the exact same day the Symphonic band was playing a concert in the high schools theater. I don't know if anyone else saw, but Mr. Obama was standing in the back of the auditorium for a few minutes listening. I can say I've played music for the president!
cassie - I just wanted to point out that it was posted by his political campaign people. Look at the name. And the other things they've posted. All similar. Nothing wrong with that, but just thought I point it out..
I attended this town hall meeting. I was sitting directly behind the Senator. He is a fabulose speaker whose presense was felt throughout the gym. I was in tears when I had the chance to shake his hand. I honestly believe he will change the Nation.
What will Barack do as a Goverment leader for all the temples of man we call body's each body is a temple full of breath,White temples, black ones,Red,Yellow,This nation is a neighborhood of body's with streets and houses that needs repaired back to health, America is a sick nation we need a leader that is as well equipped as a Dr in a Emergency room setting, if the smallest parts of the body of America is not repaired soon its heart might stop, start with Americas homeless and work up
Its extremely easy to run through a list of problems. I have yet to hear any real solutions from Mr. Obama. I hear a lot of rhetoric and word play..nothing more. Change, is not a policy and I believe Mr. Obama believes it is.
Politics became a game and people hate blacks. clinging to religion and guns because they are bitter about their economic conditions. - Paraphrasing Barack Obama
For the first time on the Lou Dobbs show's history their viewers didn't agree with them about Obama's remarks in Pennsylvania. Normally, their viewers agree with them and the polls have a 96-98% average result in favor of what they are trying to promote or how Lou Dobbs feels himself. However, history was made tonight when the majority of votes didn't agree with them about the remarks in Pennsylvania. There's still time to vote, so get the word out. Go to CNN Lou Dobbs Tonight and vote.
Senator Obama's campaign has already created massive change in this country. After being lulled to sleep for decades Americans are now waking up to the critical state of the nation and the world. Obama doesn't promise to wave some mythical magic wand to resolve problems as long as we keep shopping. He reminds us all that WE are the magic wand, and then only by working together. Yes WE can!! Hoping to see him someday in southern Indiana, or if not then for sure in Louisville.
If he gets elected and follows through with this kind of thinking when president it will be a great day for America. I yearn for a president who will welcome and expect intelligent engagement from the American people instead of using them as dupes.
i think not having the experience of being lobbied in Washington is one of the best things about him.
He's the voice of us all, he reflects our anger and disappointment in the current administration, he's the right man to change the world and making it go around again.
I hope it isn't too late to save the environment for our children and beyond them.
He's surely ready for us, but are we ready for him?
This is the essence of Senator Obama's entire candidacy. The only way to lessen the influence of the special interests is if the American people are engaged in their government enough to hold politicians accountable. Over the years, we've surrendered our democracy to big business and to the rich, so we need someone who can pull enough of us together to take this country back and put us all on the right course for the future.
"The problem we have is not a shortage of plans..."
Exactly! Plans are all well and good and--yes--even necessary. But they are meaningless without the will and the way to carry them out. That takes LEADERSHIP and *that* is why next January we will have President Obama in the White House.
Right- but Obama's point is that it's more than just leadership- what he's doing is using his "rhetoric" (you know- that stuff which supposedly means nothing, "just words") to unify people- mobilize them- and get them working for change. That's what he has been doing, and it's already working, as seen in the increased numbers of voters. Getting people involved is the first way to take back our country- the real reason we need him is to help us see that. He made this very clear in this speech.
Great great great information Obama. Folks need to understand that there isn't a shortage of good ideas. But, their is a shortage of leadership. HRC claims I am a fight fighter fighter...but she loses. She lost the healthcare fight during the clinton admin. She lost jobs for citizens in NY who she said she would create jobs for and she is losing this primary. So we will fight to the end, but nothing will get done because she is using the same washington politics.
What was awesome, was the exact same day the Symphonic band was playing a concert in the high schools theater. I don't know if anyone else saw, but Mr. Obama was standing in the back of the auditorium for a few minutes listening. I can say I've played music for the president!

This man brings so much good experience to the kind of change we need.
As a community organizer, he learned how to bring people together to make progress.
As a state legislator, he learned how to build coalitions and get things done.
As a college professor, he learned how to put together the kind of stirring speeches that can arouse us all to action.
This guy is going to make a great President.
