Hey,Overhazard,do you think you could add me to your Friend list on MKWII(and yes,I think some videos ago you said you're not gonna add anyone anymore on MKWII or SSBB)?PLZ???
At the end of the Moonview race, Skorpion actually hit the blue car that came flying in just before the finish. That's why I take the outside path at the end of that course.
According to my records, My fave course is Moonview highway. And how, I know the place back to front and know the patterns of the cars. The cars basicly punish players who wheelie while on dash pannels. Either by flattening them for 5 seconds or flipping them and the shortcuts? They are ment for karts/bikes with great offroad ability.
Wrong...that's not entirely true... Just about every pro I know (even myself) that once you know the layout of the course and what the cars do, then you can wheelie as much as you can and finish in at a great time. That one spot right there at the corner is always a blindspot of which have a hit-or-miss chance of not getting hit by cars.
Besides great offroad ability doesn't even come close to this course, there's hardly any offroad areas to begin with. I think you were trying to say Accel.
Agreed on every point. If anything, the cars actually make it harder for karts to snake than it does the bikes to wheelie. There are ways to know if a car will be around the blind corners before you reach them. Also... being an offroad specialist myself, Moonview doesn't offer me anything offroad-wise except for one passing opportunity exiting the first "S" turn.
That's true I'll take you on that in your last statement, but that should only be used if you're desperate of getting an item. The reason why I said that is because when going for it, you'll have a much higher chance of hitting a car or falling off depending on the situation. Furthermore it wastes a bit more time, and depending on the item you receive will either help you or hinder you. After all, Moonview Highway is good for avoiding shells unless you manage to get close.
I'm not talking about the optional paths that lead to item blocks, I'm talking about the grassy area to the left of the road after the 1st right turn. Magikruiser and Tiny Titan can take the grass as a faster and often safer route because it's on the inside of the turn and the cars don't travel on grass.
Not a bad video! I really likt doing the "standing mini-turbo" its just really good for getting more speed!

O.o What was that thing you did at 1:43?

This is what Mario Kart Wii fans refer to as a "standing mini-turbo." I use it to get back up to top speed.

how do you do it?
awsomosaurus995 2 years ago
You hold down the gas and brake buttons at once while you're not moving forward.

Is that what happened? It must have been a bit frustrating for Skorpion then.

Okay... Now I see it, but it looks like it doesn't give you much advantage over the course (Especially the last section).
