BS!!! Physicist, futurist yadayadayada... this wasted wood and leaves he calls biomass is the necessary NOURISHMENT for the current and future generations of said forest! That's how forests survive - Nothing is wasted in nature. This guy is a tool, and this corporation is motivated by the same self serving delusions the Koch brothers et al are!

@Dentarthurdent54 Why not just use the sun, the wind, and geothermal? It is good for 'fuel' to decompose and return to the environment, that's how nature works! Trust me, the technology exists for us to be free from 'burning' anything, be it wood, coal or fossil fuels!

@aviansoul Well, tree farms are used primarily for wood as a building material, not fuel, so in all likelihood, they're going to be around for much longer than fossil fuels. Therefore, if there's spare wood from fallen or diseased trees, it can be utilized. It's still much better than fossil fuels, and at this point much more affordable than the alternatives. The only thing standing in the way of true clean energy is its price, even if we do have the tech.
