  • 3 dislikes ... that's the Holy Trinity!!!! Checkmate atheists!

  • @auroraman56 lol god bless Edward Current.

  • "Yep. It's June. Too bad they didn't leave yet." *time passes* "Yep. It's 2012. Too bad..."

  • I think the touch feely love religion is here in the form of Bishop John Spong. I have one of his books coming so I can see exactly what he is teaching but that seems to be what it is.

  • Sounds like Egon from Ghostbusters.

  • @michaelholzl very true!

  • Its nice to know that the religious who watch this feel shame and embarrassment that they used to be a superstitious farce and their life a joke.

  • the father , the son & the holy ghost disliked this ..........

  • @waseem336 mohammed, allah and the spaghetti monster disliked it you mean... father and holy ghost are just figments of your imagination *cough :D

  • Jeff has a good point in the end of the clip - that it is "not fair" for religious apologists to discard out of hand all the things that religion has been wrong about through the ages.

I would not have used the words "not fair" myself. But I do find it incredibly dishonest of the people who claim to have all the ultimate truths that they will not even acknowledge that their religion has a long history of people who all had all the ultimate truths...

... until they were disproven by science.

  • God and Jesus disliked this video. THAT PROVES GOD EXISTS!

  • @Sikoa2617 3 dislikes now my friend the third being zeus!! :O that prove god(yahweh) doesnt LOLOL an the other 2 dislikes were hera and apollo

  • @Sikoa2617 Now the holy ghost joined in, and disliked it also.

  • @Sikoa2617

you forgot bout the holy spirit (ghost?)... lol there's 3 dislikes now!

  • @Sikoa2617 And now the Holy Spirit has also disliked this video.

  • @Sikoa2617 Does the third dislike prove the existence of Allah?

  • @Sikoa2617 Now there's three dislikes! That's the whole Trinity right there!

  • @Sikoa2617 now it's the holy trinity! :D

  • telling people to go to hell is like threathing someone to live in my basement for rest of theyr lives

  • The caller, George, is awesome. Seems like a great guy

  • There is a line, I would assume is from the bible, I don't recall at this hour. It's something like 'the sins of the father are bared by the son'... or something to that measure... This is what I think of religion. I believe that if you wish to believe in a fantasy, you must bear the guilt of those before you. Anyone who wishes to believe in the christian faith is responsible for the deaths it has cause if for no other reason but keeping the institution alive. If I am making any sense at all...

  • @skywize It's interesting that you say that, because "the sins of the father" is the whole basis behind the sacrifice of Jesus to absolve humankind from the original sin. It's some kind of ancient Jewish law having to do with blood sacrifice. So, if you want, you can throw that little nugget into the face of some ignorant believer.

  • Wow, this guy sounds like Darth Vader, but without the breathing difficulties.

  • It's great that howard stern likes to tune into the atheist experience.

  • @Tarn1968

Oh, come on, I explained what I meant by it, I'm sure they'll understand ;)

  • For all theists out there, before you engage in a discussion with anyone, especially atheists, you should be aware of something upon which a successful communication depends, and it's called the Grice's cooperative principle and its maxim of quality: do not say that for which you have no evidence. When you start respecting the main principle of communication, then you can engage in a discussion.

  • George sounds a lot like what's his name... that shock jock... uhhhhh, you know, the guy with long black curly hair... you know, the richest DJ in the world, why can't i think of his name?

  • @Pigroota

    Howard Stern

  • I can still remember standing at the bus stop, about 7 yrs old, and the other kids talking about how we'd all disappear up into heaven at the end of the world. I remember looking up at the blue sky, looking down at the ground and the kids around me, and thinking...that is total bullshit. People don't disappear. Even if heaven was real, no one BODILY goes to heaven. They'd told me for years dead people's bodies die and their SPIRIT goes to heaven. Now they tell me live BODIES go to heaven?

  • Dan Shulman?

  • I was just wondering, do Mat and Jeff have any kind of schooling or degrees? Or are they just a bunch of atheist on a show in Texas bashing everyone who is a christian and rubbing up to people like cats who are atheists?

  • @Dunnization - If you're serious, go to the website.

And maybe if you didn't buy into fairy-tales you wouldn't be offended or get your feelings hurt.

  • @besidemymind

Haha, fairy tales. (AHEM) historical accounts.

  • @Dunnization - What?! You really believe EVERY story in the Bible was a true event?

  • @Dunnization Sorta sounds like christians doesn't it? They don't have degrees and like rubbing shoulders with other christians. So, what is your point? If they don't have a degree they aren't qualified to talk about logic and reasoning? Well ok, by that standard you have zero reason to talk about religion or god since it says in your book that "no man shall know my father but through me". Sounds to me like you're having to take the word of a carpenter instead of getting educated. ;)

  • @percivul

I am no exception, you got me all wrong big hoss. It sounds like you are taking the word of any old scientist and not really looking at the truth, Science is mostly speculation and uncertainty. Sounds like I could really trust it huh? I take the words of a Carpenter because that Carpenter is wiser and more knowledgeable than you or I could ever hope to dream to be. Not to mention he is God so it makes total sense to listen to him. Science is the biggest veil to peoples eyes.

  • @Dunnization I will gladly take you up on that challenge. So you feel science is a veil to peoples eyes and that your god is smarter than you or I? I call BS! Go read Leviticus 13 and 14. Come back after that and try, with a straight face, to say your god is wiser and smarter. Now to science. Science is based on repeatable, demostrable observations that are rigorously tested, confirmed. The shape of the earth, for example was confirmed by science. Your god said it's flat (Isaiah 40:22 ).

  • @percivul

Leviticus only shows how to deal with Leprosy or Excema. I haven't read it in a while because I'm trying to read more Proverbs and Psalms and NT. You argument there seems to be invalid also. Evolution has never been repeatable and if it wasn't a theory it wouldn't disprove God. It would only prove that God is omnipotent, it would only prove that we adapt. Which isn't strange.

  • @Dunnization Now you're using a non sequitor as well as a Red Herring. So far, you've demonstrated that you'll use fallacies in a heartbeat when logic invades the realm of your 'god'. I would also point out that Evolution HAS been demonstrated. Have you ever heard of Darwin's finches? I suppose not since you made the retarded statement that "evolution has never been repeatable". So, coming back to reality, would you care to address my last post about the things your 'god' said to be true?

  • @Dunnization I might also call your attention to the fact that in Leviticus, it is GOD that is saying you cure leprosy with animal sacrifice. So again, your ridiculous assertion that god is 'wiser and more knowledgeable' is being called into question and I would very much appreciate if you answered my question rather than running to fallacies. If it helps, you could always simply say that you might be wrong about the god thing as a whole and THAT would be something we could address as adults.

  • @Dunnization Might I also say that it was science, not any religion or god, that made the lifestyle you enjoy possible. Religion is the bane of progress... always has been. There's a reason why the church, for hundreds of years, repressed or killed scientists. They realized that their business was in jeopardy the moment science started making people see reality. So while you denegrate the very thing that gives you your modern lifestyle, your religion would love to see it go away.

  • @percivul

What does todays lifestyle have anything to do with anything? Think about Jesus time and before that. They enjoyed life; so that argument is invalid. When did the church kill scientists to shut out the voice of Evolutionists? I'm sure you have countless biased websites or something, Atheist apologetics. Isaiah only proves what Edward Hubble found to be true; the universe is expanding. The Earth would be a circle from a birds eye view. You are taking that out of context.

  • @Dunnization Nice try. The scientific dark ages are entirely the responsibility of christianity my friend. Isaiah makes no mention about an expanding universe. Your attempt to you post hoc rationalizing won't get you anywhere. So, I'm not taking anything out of context here. Instead, you're using fallacies, dodging questions and generally... just being a typical christian who worships a bronze age mythology for a self reason.

  • I disliked this video.

  • @Dunnization And we know most christians don't. It's funny how christians often don't "like" things that bring their superstitious BS to light, don't you think?

  • @percivul

I am unbiased, I know that there are truths and major falsehoods, more falsehoods to science than truth. I know there are truths to Evolution and concerning God; only truth. My point is everyone who is in the realm of Philosophy, logical reasoning, and theology think they are are the Albert Einsteins of that topic. Everyone commenting on this video thinks they are valedictorians of their College Biology class and Seminary school.

  • @Dunnization LOL! This is priceless... You are unbiased? You have gone out of your way to misconstrue what I've stated or flat out simply not understood and THEN have the gall to assert that your bible and therefore your god is 'truth'. What a crock of shit. You even admitted that you're focusing on the NT.. In other words, CHERRY PICKING!!! Your god is a vengeful, barbaric, sadistic, baby killing, rape victim stoning, mass murdering thug. That sir, isn't bias... It's all in your bible.

  • @percivul

In my Bible study time I'm reading in the NT, You misconstrued the scripture not me. So don't turn it around on me and say I'm lying. I'm not biased, you misinterpreted what I said about MY STUDY TIME. I listen to what people say about Evo, My God is just in what he does to those who are against him like yourself. I'm sorry that you don't agree with it but you need to toughen up cuzo. You might as well complain about death sentences at then Pen, understand that it was cultural too.

  • @Dunnization Yes, the rationalizing of evil deeds so you don't have to question them. I understand. Funny thing about all of this is that you really are just a run of the mill christian. You avoid direct questions, use false analogies, and generally cling to fallacies like a life line. That's the REAL difference between you and I pal. You are comfortable in a shared fantasy, and I prefer reality. I won't bother you anymore.

  • @percivul

Those so called evil deeds are only evil in your eyes. If you are getting so butt hurt about it then you will have to get over it if you ever want to come to God. I avoid direct questions, use false analogies, and generally cling to fallacies like a life line(I guess the last one is a positive). No you won't not bother me anymore you can't resist to reply back to my arrogant replies haha. No, you're wrong. I'm nor run of the mill, I didn't neglect anything you said or avoid anything.

  • @percivul

To let you know that science doesn't exist outside of God, every material used to mke you life enjoyable was created by God to be used by science. God is science, Edward Hubble said the universe is expanding but Isaiah proved it before Hubble. It says that ''he stretches the heavens out like a curtain'' so you're wrong about that. I still haven't reviewed Leviticus, but what is wrong with them sacraficing animals for God to cure their disease?

  • @Dunnization

So then why don't you try sacrificing your dog to cure flu?

  • @skadi87skadi

Because people don't sacrafice sin offerings or peace offerings anymore, 1 Peter 2:24 '' He (Jesus Christ) bore our sin in his body on the tree so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness, by his wounds we are healed.'' Jesus was scorged with a cat of nine tails, beaten so bad we couldn't tell his sex anymore as the Bible says. Jesus IS the sacrafice hence the lamb that was slain just like a animal offering back in the day. His wounds are why I'm healed.

  • @Dunnization

First of all, I reject bible as any kind of historical record, i don't believe a think written in it. But anyway, whether you sacrifice an animal or viciously torture and kill a human being, it's immoral and barbarous in itself, and i have nothing good to say to such people! Sacrifice someone else for your own sins, kind of UNFAIR AND IMMORAL, don't you think? Well, i know you don't agree with me, but i hope there are normal people who do

  • @skadi87skadi

In a atheist mind set there is no immorality, survival of the fittest. In your mind set what Hitler did was a great advancement for the human race to build stronger humans for the purpose of driving out the weak humans. Yes the Bible is a historical document because it speaks of past events by people who actually exist. Those people visciously tortured Jesus because they hated God, it was YOUR OWN KIND. Jesus volunteered to die because he loves us.

  • @Dunnization

Buddy, you don't know the first thing about atheism, clearly, and you misinterpret atheism for evolution, and just because someone believes evolution exists, it doesn't mean that we want to use it to create stronger human beings or higher race or something, don't link hitler to atheists, and by the way, hitler was a christian! Bible may talk about some people that were real, but jebus is not proven to be an actual historical figure.

  • @skadi87skadi

Evolution and atheism go hand-in-hand. In the atheist mind set, being there is no morality because there is not God so if I wanted to come to your house and rape you who is to say I'm wrong? There is no supreme judge, morality doesn't exist, so it's perfectly fine. Since God exists there is morality because you're conscience tells you it's wrong because you were created that way. FYI, there is no evidence for macroevolution. I'm done with you though so peace.

  • @Dunnization

No, people who killed jesus had their own beliefs, just didn't believe that HE was a god. And stop saying things about atheists that are lies, you don't know anything about it, atheists believe in morality, dude!!! You are so ill-educated, i seriously have nothing to talk about with such a clearly deluded and brainwashed person, so bye-bye

  • @skadi87skadi

Hshahahahahahahahaha, you're hilarious you have no idea what you are talking about here. There is no morality in the atheist mindset because if God doesn't exist there is no good or bad everyone does what they seem fit. For there to be morality there has to be a moral law giver, being that God is love and God is the definition of goodness manifest outside of him there is no good so there can be no bad so anything I do is fine.

  • @Dunnization

I am an atheist and I differentiate moral from immoral, you idiot! There is good and there is bad, that's why you have prisons full of criminals! Not because of god, but because humans have both good and bad in their nature. I am an atheist and yet, I am GOOD! Stop repeating the same ignorant shit. You're hopeless and beyond repair. You keep deluding yourself, and I'm off to live in a real world.

  • @skadi87skadi

The real world of what? You're blind faith in spontaneous, random, complex organisms? Hahah you have more faith than I my friend. But not really. You have no morality, because in your logic God doesn't exist so there is no one to set the standard of good or bad. There are contemporary sources outside of the Bible to verify Jesus exists, so you are lying now not I. You can't be good because the Bible says we are all sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God. You and I both

  • @Dunnization

You don't even come close to understanding natural processes, so don't talk about them, I don't have FAITH in something that is actually supported by evidence!

Okay, so you believe in god, and you are moral. Then, there's someone like me who does NOT believe in god, and is still moral. So if you need god to be moral, how do you explain this? Because if i don't believe in him, it's the same (for me) as he doesn't exist.

The bible says, the bible says.........The bible is a BOOK!!

  • @Dunnization

"In your mind set what Hitler did was a great advancement for the human race to build stronger humans for the purpose of driving out the weak humans"

No actually I'm not so stupid that I think the Evolution is a philosophy about how humans should behave instead of a description of how nature is. Hitler was not influenced by Darwin. He never mention darwin in any speech, writing or order. He does mention how he's doing god's will and how atheists have no moral compass.

  • @Remembermylai Actually Hitler banned evolution in 1933, so if you get thrown that again

  • Comment removed

  • @Remembermylai Hitler used LaMarkian (check sp?) evolution as the basis of his extermination of the Jews.

  • @Remembermylai

Hitler condemed Darwin's theory in one passage of Mein Kampf I learned. He used the same typical creationist lies to denounce it.

  • @skadi87skadi

We are both filth, evil, and vile, man look at your daily actions and your thoughts and tell me if you are good or not. I'm not shoving anything down your throat I'm just explaining things to you so I want to set that straight. We have prisons because God gave you a conscience, to differentiate between the two so that we could establish things like a prison to maintain those who disrupt morality. If God doesn't exist no good, no bad, no prisons. Constant chaos.

  • @Dunnization

You can think that you are some disgusting creature, a worm or whatever, but i actually value myself more, and i don't kneel in front of anybody, because i know my worth. And whatever my daily thoughts are, even if some of them were "bad", they don't actually harm anyone, and that's most important. Man can have bad qualities, but still choose to act good to others, and that's MORE ADMIRABLE than natural goodness. Because you tamed evil aspects of your nature.

  • @skadi87skadi

Sigh, I know my worth to. I'm precious to God man, when I sin I know that it is my natural character to do so but I don't dwell in it because I rejoice that Jesus has forgiven me and I pick up my cross and die to myself to conform to the image to Christ because he is my example. Based on your comment you are your own God and that is your problem you don't want to stop being your own God. Jesus is alive there is evidence for him. I have to go take it easy.

  • @Dunnization

Yeah, I have to study too. Just to mention, it's not very moral to sin and expect to be forgiven by default, because it would justify murder, rape, torture and other hideous sins for people, and I don't see mankind having future behaving like that. ou cannot take life and be forgiven just because you repent. If it were ok, murderers would all be free now, do you seriously want that, man?

  • @Dunnization

And anyway, are you saying that if jesus didn't die for our sins, you would now still sacrifice living creatures because you believe that would cure you? You're sick

  • @skadi87skadi

I'm sick? Negative chief I don't get sick is the point. You opinion about God doesn't matter, the scripture he was talking about had to do with ONLY curing Leprosy and eczema. We didn't sacrafice the son of God you need to read the Bible more. He volunteered to do it because this world needs a savior, Jesus even said he could send legions of angels to come and destroy the people who were trying to kill him but he didn't because he wanted to bring us bacl to God.

  • @Dunnization

God should have the power and WILL (if he is so good and noble) to forgive mankind on his own and not allow jebus to be sacrificed in the first place. And there's really no point in you citing me the bible 'cause i don't take it seriously at all. it's just a fairytale to me. You don't get sick, haha, i know someone (hugh laurie) who only got sick for the first time after i don't know how many decades and he didn't claim it was because of jebus XD XD you make me laugh............

  • @skadi87skadi

Jesus wanted to bring humanity back into communion with God so he took what would have been your eternal punishment in hell and took it upon himself and died on a cross. You call him evil and a barbarian, that's foolishness my friend that is someone who died to have a relationship with you. A person actually died for you, not only a person, the only God we have.

  • @Dunnization

That's provided you actually believe in all this crap, which i don't... Well, according to your book, he did some horrible stuff, and also allowed some horrible stuff to happen. That, my friend, is barbaric. And I understand why bible is full of that shit, because people of those times were cruel and barbaric, i get it, but i do NOT get how anyone in the 21st century could JUSTIFY such atrocities!

  • @skadi87skadi

It doesn't have to be justifiable, you answered your own question. Why is it so barbaric? It's cultural, if the Iraelites just sat there and said ''well, God will protect us.'' the Amorites, or Canaanites, or Gershomites, or Amelikites would eventually pillage the Israelites and kill all of them. You HAD to fight back if you wanted to survive, sometimes God would hand the Israelites over to their enemies because of sin and disobedience to God.

  • @Dunnization

I'm not saying that fighting BACK, for example, is bad. But I am saying that sacrificing, for example, is very bad, and also doesn't actually achieve anything, it's all in your head. Barbaric is when your precious loving (hahaha) god sends bears to slaughter some children who mocked a bald guy. That's fucking barbaric, do you finally get it now??

  • @Dunnization

Well, if after all that you say, especially today, that god is GOOD and LOVING and you still believe in such a being, then you're JUSTIFYING his horrible acts. And for god to be worshipped, YES, his actions have to be righteous and justified. Otherwise, you're the same asshole as those that followed Hitler, for example. You think about it

  • @skadi87skadi

What stuff did God do that was barbaric and wrong?

  • @Dunnization

Wow, it's all there in your bible, are you really going to deny it? Last time i read it it was more than 10 years ago, so i can't remember off the top of my head, but i know there's lots of such things.

  • @skadi87skadi

Hitler is evil bro, I would never condone him at all that he ever did anything worth of praise. The things God did were just in the OT to help the survival of the righteous and help the survival of the Israelites. Our opinion about what God did doesn't matter you need to understand that. It doesn't matter if you don't agree with it or not because God doesn't care if you think it is bad. I'm not a dick head Christian like the rest you know. You came to me in a negative way.

  • @skadi87skadi

The Bible is a compilation of books, that is what Bible means. It is a compilation of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts from people who actually sat down and wrote these things. The Pauline epistles were letters written by Paul the apostle to the churches. The Roman church, Corinthian church, phillippian church, etc.. those churches sent him letters asking for guidence in areas. You think we just found the Bible together in the dirt? No! It was multiple books about the Jewish God.

  • @Dunnization

And you have a collection of books about Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings.... My point is, man is capable of lying and deceiving, or simply being convinced in something that is not actually true, so I wouldn't take a written letter as a testimony of anything. At least that's what rational people do.

  • @skadi87skadi

I'm as rational as you, we are both human beings we are equally rational. You aren't higher than me, we both have the same organs and thought processes. I have the same feelings you do and thoughts and desires, we are the same everyone of us humans. I have more reason than the Bible to believe in God, I don't just take it for face value I test it. I'll show you how.

  • @Dunnization

There are more and less educated, more and less intelligent, etc. people, we are NOT all the same in every way... I'm not saying you are this or that, but you and I are clearly different. God is NOT logic and rationality, god is irrational and illogical (read: BLIND) faith...

  • @Dunnization Why aren't you a Hindu or a Sikh?

  • @percivul

All you do is say I'm illogical and my ideas or w/e are fallicies after everything I say. That's all atheists do, it's silly man. Jesus Christ exists, he did in history and does now, his followers were actually killed, he really did ressurect, the bible has eye wittness testimony, Pontius Pilot really did sentence him to death, he is alive. Not to hard to understand right? I don't need science, I walk in divine healing and have been for four years. I don't get sick is what I'm saying

  • @percivul

You came to me first with an attitude and judgementalness stored up in your heart. I'm an intellectual, I think more than the average being. What is my shared fantasy? That God exists? Jesus Christ is a real person who REALLY died? He ACTUALLY heals people today? People actually have testimonies? What is reality sir? What is reality to you? Because you see, it differs from person to person; what is YOUR reality I might ask.

  • @percivul

Leviticus doesn't prove anything anyway, the finches only proves there are different species of birds as are any other living thing. You're problem is you are too stubborn to look at the truth and foolishness of Evo. I said earlier that there are many falsehoods with Evolution and guess what you said? NOTHING, you had no response because it's true. You are your own God and you use your silly little atheist dialect like, logic, rational, reality, brainwash, etc.. etc..

  • @percivul

I apologize because I didn't see the other comments you posted. My channel only picks up one comment if like five are sent by the same user. I then looked in my E-Mail and saw the other five you sent so to let you know I wasn't avoiding any questions. If I was hostile I also apologize but you have to work on that attitude of yours.

  • Howard Stern?

  • I think I will continue worshiping the Dark Lord Cthulhu. Prepare for his coming in 2012 for all you shall kneel in homage to the Great Old One!

BTW, My God is better than your God!

  • The rapture's comin' May 21st! ... and every two years for the past century!

  • XENU HAHAHAHAH HAIL LORD XENU

  • Talking Heads - Heaven as background music

  • a lot of my family members have a freak-out jamboree at this topic. Even though they love the movies & tv shows that willingly bs this, I am "a little confused" as to why they still believe this. Yet, FoxNews & such always give me LOL when they talk of it. Just a person that works in politics.

  • Can't wait till 2013 rolls around. One more major end-of-world prophecy bites the dust.

  • @smaakjeks a family on trading spouses thought they were really clever by buying TV's and furniture and crap on "pay nothing untill 2012" deals because they were convinced by some cheesey speudo-documentary on the net

  • @robertwc82

Brilliant. I'm not sure what's more disturbing: That they think the world is ending in 2012, or that they decided to spend the rest of their (to them) precious moments watching tv. How about exploring the world, or experience skydiving or something? Nah, never mind, the new episode of Jersey Shore is on! Woot!

  • @smaakjeks actually, they spent most of their time doing "survival training" lol

  • @robertwc82 My father was one of those 'end of the world' Christians.....and several times in my childhood, he stockpiled food, fuel, clothing, etc. in preparation for some crisis. Once, I asked him, "If we're going to be raptured to heaven, why do we need all this stuff?" He mumbled something about Armageddon and kept stacking canned goods. He's a very sweet, kind, generous man but SERIOUSLY deluded about religion.

  • i was actually taught, by the church that i went to, that jesus would return... around now. before the generation that saw isreal become a state die off, we would experience the rapture. and the youth group would take us to these "tribulation houses" where they showed what the end of the world would be like. and it was just an hour long scare tactic. when i refused to go this year, my excuse was that it was the same shit every year, i was called out as closed minded.

  • @RaabBlog. they have been saying the world will end "any minute now" for the last couple of thousand years lol.

p.s isnt it funny how people project their flaws on to others

  • It was more than that, a massive Messianic rebel Army offered battle to the Romans , their leaders preached that God would physicaly come down to ensure their victory. The Roman machine destroyed them.

  • What ever happened to George?

Has he even called in the last year?

  • George sounds a lot like Q

  • SACRILEGE! Thou shalt not make graven images of the Flying Sphagetti Monster (FSM)!! ...oh, wait. It's not graven. It's just pipe-cleaners. Never mind. Carry on!

  • Mid 18 hundreds I think...

  • Was this that guy from "Wretched Radio"?

  • lol is that ment to be the spagettii monster on their desk XD

  • Wow.. Sensitive topic eh?

    Please don't flame me =P

    But here are my thoughts:

I think what the guy called in was trying to say is why does Jeff get so upset about something a doesn't believe in? If he doesn't believe in God, so be it. Then doesn't that mean he shouldn't be angry about people believing that ht will be condemned for eternity if he don't believe in God?

Well, tho I'm a catholic, I too do not like the idea of people being condemned to hell just cause they don't believe in God.

  • Oh! And I LOVE SCIENCE!!! So naturally I'm amazed at things like the big bang theory (The show too! =D )and evolution and all. I know I can't explain how God came into existence (I think the bible said something bout God already being around) Maybe God was from an old community that lived in the universe? haha.

Well, if I could start my own religion, it'd be pretty much the same, but i promise not to condemn people who don't believe aight? Haha. Peace out.

  • @okuside no... you see, the theist has decided that a person deserves eternal torture for using one's mind. He doesn't see, nor care how unjust the prospect is. They threaten us with eternal damnation, because they want to be vindicated in their superstition. They want us to suffer for ever.. just so they can have been right. That's why Jeff and peeps like myself get angry at these threats.

  • Christian fundies are like spastics playing marbles. It just doesn't work!

  • I'm glad that was brought up about the old testament. I have brought that up many times and a lot of Christians especially fundamentalist who love to tell you to stay in the new testament or the old testament no longer applys, and it's all the same God, it's bullshit.

  • Someone listen to Dan Schulman of ESPN sports and George here. Dan broadcasts pro baseball games.

    They sound identical.

  • @yankinCanada It's ProfMTH a youtuber.

  • @jymbo1969

Do you hear the resemblance at all? It's uncanny.

  • i love when george calls in. He's one smart guy.

  • Any ex-jehovah's witnesses here? I used to think the world was gonna end so i postponed going to college, having sex, doing anything. i hate myself for being suckered into this. =(

At least im a skeptic now =)

  • "i hate myself for being suckered into this. =("

Hey, you were probably raised JH, right? Sounds like you're not giving yourself enough credit for overcoming years of indoctrination.

  • Really?

Because when I was going to school, I was a goody two shoes atheist, and the first time i got drunk was at the hand of a bunch of JWs.

  • @D1ZaST4R

Did you get all caught up on your college, sex and all? It's never too late you know....

  • @D1ZaST4R

And don't ever not be a skeptic. Jehovah's Witnesses and the amount of times they have knocked on my door in a selfish fashion... It pisses me off.

  • @D1ZaST4R Why did you postpone sex? Isn't that a reason to have more sex?

  • @D1ZaST4R i have a friend coping with similar things.

  • @D1ZaST4R if the world was going to end, and you wanted to have sex, wouldnt you just marry the 1st girl who said yes? it wouldnt matter if it was not compatable in the long term

  • Christians shying away from the old testament is like Scientologists shying away from the Xenu story.

  • Exactly. Jesus himself talked about the prophecy and events that happened in the Old Testament.

  • or cuntz shying away from other cuntz

  • George is the greatest caller on any show, ever.

  • I'm atheist, but I want to know why there CAN'T be a God, I dont think there is, but there's no evidence he doesnt exist either! :|

  • Theres no evidence I don't have super powers and I can't fly.. That doesn't make it true... Theres also no evidence that I AM NOT GOD. Therefore I must be god?

  • huh? im not saying that your a god.

  • lol, sorry I must have misread your comment.. I thought you said there is no evidence he doesn't exist therefore he must.

Sorry I'm a bit retarded tonight

  • oh ok then :)

  • Actually you gave a sound argument LOL

  • That's a pretty dumb question because you can ask the same thing about werewolfs, vampires, tooth fairies or Xenu...etc, its just dumb

  • yes but if vampires would exist, they wouldnt have the abilities to create 'the all'. but a godlike being can. thats the big difference. and for your knowledge, I am an atheist, and atheist shouldnt question the existence of a god too, not just believe he doesnt

  • you dont get it do you??? i dont care what "abilities" of whatever you're claiming to exist possesses, it doesn't matter,so meet your burden of proof or gtfo.

Oh and no, you're not an atheist, you're just a pathetic troll. Obvious troll is obvious

  • Oh??? so you don't believe in werewolfs and vampires because its not omnipotent??? ROFL!!! yeah sure..." big difference" right there

adding the "ability to create the world" does NOT make your god or whatever entity you believe in MORE likely to exist, it's still just a claim and unsupported by evidence like all folklore creatures and myths

and by your logic we will have to include ALL OMNIPOTENT GODS/THINGS from ALL CULTURES/CLAIMS into consideration.

bangNL94 = fail troll is fail

  • YOU ARE EXAGERATING, I said I was atheist and I do not believe in a fkin God! I also said that that DOESNT mean we should stop finding evidence against God! so STFU.

  • We'll never find pure evidence "against" a supernatural entity.

Proving a negative takes an incredible amount of knowledge, and exhaustive searching.

  • yes, I know that. it's impossible to look beyond the universe. but I do think that the way how god is discribed in the bible and such books are way wrong, that still doesnt mean the existence or non-existence of a supernatural power :) so yes, we're both right

  • Actually, while absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, it actually IS when you would expect there to be.

So for all that we do know, there's nothing that logically or scientifically justifies any belief in the supernatural.

Greets from Belgium by the way

  • wow, thats a lot of hard words, and I totally agree, groeten uit Holland btw :D

  • Believing in god is not the default position.

Its not our responsibility to prove he doesn't exist, its their responsibility to prove he does.

  • wise words

  • Taken from Matt Dillahunty, no less.

  • The reason why his voice is so cool is because it is so low, think about every cool male voice, it is always low and good female voices are always high.

  • george could do commercial voice work

  • Wow... thanks for the kind words folks.

    (GeorgeNY)

  • George's voice is very similar to ProfMTH. Time to start a rumor...

  • I thought so too...

  • @mandangalo18 this guy talks a whole lot faster than ProfMTH though. ;0

  • what is george's last name,, how do i find more info on this guy?? anyone??

  • Crap... I only know that he's from new york... Try writing an e-mail to AE, maybe they can provide you with more info.
