It's a rivalry game so it means something. Plus it's MSU first conference victory this season and was a much needed win to get the season back on track after 3 heartbreaking losses. So it was an important game for quite a few reasons. But I'm not surprised that you, a Michigan fan would try to make light of a game you lost because that's what UM fans do. When you win you act a fool like you won the Super Bowl. When you lose you belittle the team that just beat you and make excuses.

Haha hilarious. Michigan fans always want to bring up the past because in the current, MSU owns this state. We have for over 15 seasons in basketball ( don't feel bad, pretty much own the country in this aspect ) and now MSU has a coach that will be the next Izzo for basketball. lol bud not trying to burst ur bubble but michigans gonna have u at home in ann arbor next year, with a whole nother year of top ten recruiting under their belt, and another peice to rich rod's puzzle. i commend state on a nice, and deserved victory, but u probably wont get one for a long time after this, their recruiting is blowing states out of the water, and state has benefited from rodriguez getting stuck with carr's players. state is definately a much better program than preciously though.

Very good game. Spartans showed that they always play hard against michigan at home. Tate showed some guts but came up short. Seems like Michigan always attempts an exciting comeback, this time they fell a little short. Congrats to the Spartans. Go blue, Michigan will be back.

@goblue10nis Actually, they did let me in and I'm getting a masters next month. I'll go out on a limb and assume you actually go here for undergrad and so I can thank you for subsidizing the true academics at U of M: the professional and doctoral degree programs. While you may look down upon those in East Lansing, those of us who excel in academia similarly look down upon U of M. It is a school that is really good, just not as good as it thinks it is. Arrogance = ignorance.
