And, then it ends with the fight scene with Lisa and her field hockey stick vs. Jackson, and I'm not sure how I want to react to that? It's like, it leaves you with a sense of "knowing Lisa's fighting back, but does she win?" kind of a thing, and it seems unresolved.

Okay, this might be a long one, but I've got to explain the awesomeness of this video, especially the relevance of this song to the J/L pairing, and also the timing of the shots with the lyrics! Here goes:

"Don't want your hand this time, I'll save myself. Maybe I'll wake up for once." SO Lisa! She wants to recover from her rape by herself, never wants to have anyone else's pity.

"Not tormented daily, defeated by you, just when I thought I'd reached the bottom." In the clips you showed during this part, Jackson's really roughing Lisa up, so one could assume that the line would be just about him dragging her down. However, what if it was the thought of her rape/rapist that was "tormenting her daily", and THEN Jackson comes along, which brings us to the "defeated by you, just when I thought I'd reached the bottom" part. LOVE it!

"I'm dying again. I'm going under." Lisa's reliving a nightmare, where something is happening "beyond her control", well, beyond it until she puts her foot down.

(Side note, the part right around 1:10 where she sings "I'm falling forever", and you show Jackson, sitting there looking like he doesn't have a care in the world, and then Lisa's face fades in, and she looks PISSED! --- awesome timing.)

"Blurring and stirring, the truth and the lies. So I don't know what's real and what's not. Always confusing the thoughts in my head, so I can't trust myself anymore." Love how you made the image fuzzy and blurred there! Artsy.

And Jackson kinda did that to her, too, when you think about it. She didn't know if he really WAS going to hurt her dad, or if he even had someone outside the house watching him, or anything. He led her to believe he was a nice, charming, stand-up guy, and then, pulls the rug out from under her feet and goes creepy-sexy-psycho on her all in the span of a takeoff!

2:25 is the beginning of my favorite part! "I won't be broken again- I've got to breathe. I can't keep going under!" If that doesn't sum Lisa's actions up like no other!?! And then, she makes her run, and starts her plan of defending herself against him, throwing the chair down as she went past it, I thought, was a little spiteful on her part, but rightly so!

Then, the flashes when she sings "I'm dying again. I'm going under!" and it fades to black, then pops back with Lisa's crying scene in the bathroom --- FRICKIN' GENIUS!!! Totally catches the mood, PERFECTLY!

Yet another incredible part, "I'm going under (going under), drowning in you (drowning in you)" and you fade back and forth between Lisa crying in the bathroom, and Jackson standing in the aisle, staring towards Lisa --- creepy! It completely embodies the whole I'm-in-love-with-him-I-just-kn­ow-it-so-what-if-he-hits-me-an­d-beats-me-and-nearly-kills-me­-I-know-he-loves-me-deep-down-­inside-and-I-can-change-him-I-­just-know-it abusive relationship thingy!

I'm loving the slowed down and rewind effects! The blurred effect was neat too as was the near replay of parts! Plus I just love Evanescence! Awesome job with the all the different effects, little sis! :)
