  • where did you get this turbo kit? lookin to buy one for my bike

  • why would anyone treat their bike like that ??

  • @excriminal1 because it was a shit old tire ready for the scrap pile. You think this really causes much if any stress on the bike? I'd wager less than the wear placed on the chain, sprocket, suspension, and clutch every time some goon clutches up their bike.

  • any water that gets sucked into that filer will just turn into steam cuz that turbo is crazy hot, its fine to fide in the rain wont hurt the motor

  • @kkeith15getz You don't know much about turbos. Cold side gets hot but never that hot.

  • an oompa loompa watched your video... he wants his socks back :) sweet bike!

  • Stupid question... Can you still ride this bike safely in the rain? or does the exposed air filter inhale water or repel it?

  • @scottdav82nd I don't ride in the rain. I don't imagine a little water would hurt it though. Stuck in a torrential downpour might cause a bit of trouble though.

  • @scottdav82nd yeah water would seize the engine beacause the pistons cant compress it you would get bent rods and shit

  • haaahaaaaaa..this is gey :D

  • Nice bike, I just sold an '04 R6 with a very similar paint color. Love the side exit exhaust too, very sleek compared to the common Turbo Dump pipes.

  • This bike sounds incredible. Probably one of the coolest bikes ever started.

  • 135 whp doesn't seem like much. My 05 with BMC drop in filter, slip on exhaust and PCIII dyno tuned cranked out 112 whp. 135 is only 17% more than112....

Nonetheless, still a very well fabricated kit from the looks of this vid and your other (w/o filter attached). How much torque are you making? I bet that increase makes the kit worth it!

  • All dynos read differently. A stock R6 of this vintage makes ~98-100whp.

I could get more out of it with more boost if I wanted, but I like it to stay safe and last.

  • @imprezatt mine got 105HP (eu, which mean like 130HP us?). Dunno what that is in WHP.

  • Nice socks!!!

Just kidding, this is awesome!! Respect!

  • if im correct can i hear a turbo ???? im sure i can lmao

  • that was amazing! bet it done the bike a world of good. Socks UP LAD!

  • You prolly have close to 120-130 whp am I close?

  • 135.4 whp

    no sprocket changes.

running a little less PSI right now, I had it set to 9psi when it was dyno'd. I need to turn it back up, took my controller apart and cleaned it and didnt set it back right, just been lazy to set it back right

  • How much psi you running? And what's your best 0-60 or 1/4?

  • thats the most beautiful bike ever made, never knew there was a turbo model! =0

  • There was no turbo model, this is a custom turbo set up on a 2003 yamaha YZF-R6
