It breaks my heart that non of the children interviewed wants to be a doctor, engineer, teacher and so on when they grow up. Don't get me wrong, music is important but it cannot curb the 70% jobless rate in the country. It also cannot take the country from the bottom of UN Human Development Index. If we do not want another war, there has to be lots of opportunities opened to people rather than just music. And yes I am a Sierra Leonean from Kambia. God Bless our country. I am really sad.

From Kassirie. Samu Chiefdom, Kambia District. However, I have been to Kambia town, Rokupr, Mambolo, Matassor etc. etc.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Music must be bringing ways of change, of empowerment, of healing - no time for mere entertainment... and the truth is those who have such heart to give throught their music will be entertaining anyway..... anyone who has the attention of the people has an obligation to help rather hinder, to share rather than become wealthy..... social change, economic change, emotional change, political change are the only subjects appropriate for these times. Bless these musicians!
