Does anyone know why my clips sometimes merge? I can for instance have a man walking and under that clip (not visible) a woman eating. Then the clip with the man suddenly, for maybe 2 or 3 keyframes, gets replaced with the woman. Then when I remove the clip with the woman underneath the clip with the man it should be gone. Should. The clip with the man now got 2 or 3 keyframes with the woman eating. And I have to manually remove it. Why is this happening? And what to do with it? Thankyou! :)

@Fisenberg777 This sounds like a video board issue; bad video RAM?? If you have two events with Event A on Track 1 and Event B on track 2, then only Track 1 would be visible. Could you upload a screen capture of what you're talking about and show us what is happening on screen?

@jamesymck There are no links to get Sony Vegas Pro for free. You have to buy it. Sony doesn't give Vegas Pro away for free. It'd be nice; they haven't made it open source or GNUPL yet. Not sure if they ever will either. :/

@MrScarghost141 It looks like you need the right codec. Try google "x sony vegas codec" with "x" being the file type you want to import. Or reinstall Vegas.

You are probably rendering selected area only and the selected area is blank make sure the whole video is highlighted and try rendering again
