there was this one song i was learning with my private tutor during orchestra class and i want to know what its called. it was vivaldi in g and it was beautiful. any ideas?
@evaengineer try better speaker or headphones. I had the same problem with the sound on a laptop's onboard speakers, but headphones make all parts clearly heard.
@xFayte Yeah, it isn't ideal, I agree. If I had a complete instrument, it would be better balanced; the A-G Archive module is really only intended as an extension to a larger instrument.
@NimbleTurtle13 Probably for the same reason someone once asked me if the music on the recording I was playing was Mozart. It was actually a mass by Dufay.
This piece is such a story of sound. I feel like I am drifting down a cool, narrow river at eveningtime as I enter beneath the boughs of trees that usher me into the lush, flowing world of Bach. I've never heard this piece before, but now I am a fan.
Smalin. Do you have a copyright to this? Because this is way better than the hearing impaired visualizations that are currently out there, and you could make a load of money. Just curious
@AsSomedayItMayHappen I think you mean patented (copyright is for individual creative works, like books or performances; patents are for inventions). The ideas used in my music visualizations were not invented by me (at least, not to such an extent that I could patent them), but my videos (like any creative work) are all protected by copyright.
@0ntology Cool! In a way, that's the perfect way to watch them: in a dark room, so that the animation all you can see. When the video iPod first came out, I thought "this is great" but distribution of my videos was a problem (the iTunes store wouldn't take on a nobody like me). But now, with YouTube and web-able phones, you're there. Too bad I don't have video on my cell phone ... maybe you should invite me over to watch them with you ... juuuuuuuuuust kidding ... :-)
woah super trippy sounding organ. I think I like this one better than the 1st movement, but the more you listen to bach the more you get out of it, I'll probably end up liking the first movement after a couple listens. It's always hard to grasp at first.
this is the most tremendous music ive ever heard

I love this movement, but I wasn't a big fan of the Subbass used here.

@smalin Any idea why this piece sound so medieval to me?
NimbleTurtle13 1 year ago
@NimbleTurtle13 Probably you haven't heard enough Medieval and Baroque music to be aware of the differences between them.
