Ok, I'll have to be skeptical. The Dragon was slain too easily! Ok, first she stabed the Scales like she was stabing a pie, dragons have very hard and sturdy scales, unless that blade was the sharpest blade in the world that was silly. Second the Dragon died too easily! Ok she stabed him in the heart but, even so, dragons are known for their endurance and strenght and the girl just had it so easy, hard to believe. Anyway the movie is great, it is touching and the modeling and ani are amazing!

@KAZZARTT dragons don't exist, so you cannot really tell how thick is their skin. It all depends on the imagination of the writer and director of the movie, and in this case they made their choices. Besidfes, don't forget they have to tell the complete story in only 14 minutes, so they cannot take too long in the battles, the girl had to kill the dragon fast.

Love the design. The main character reminds me of FF9. (My fav game). Of course it is better drawn here than in FF9.

And although I don't like those kinda endings, I liked how the whole story was put together, SPOILER: and the scene from 10.10 to 10.50.

Sad ending but why limit this to a short movie. This could have been major motion picture. It reminds of "The Longest Journey" series of games. Blender is free and this proves its worth as a great CCG movie and game asset development tool. The new version 2.57 has a revised interface and a game engiine. Most of what you need is in one program. Also a newer version, 2.6, should be coming out soon.
