  • OH MY GOD, IT's Tommy Wesui, from "The Room"

  • Who's up for Vayne getting into the next Dissidia?

  • @NewRedNinja I think the number of hero's that appeared in 012 should be the same number for villains.

  • also getting pretty tired of people saying certain final fantasies suck. that's like calling a pizza bad, because bad pizzas are still pretty good

  • @bobmcbob49 i like pizza

  • Sakimoto's greatest tracks can be found in Vagrant Story! (*_*)

    Even himself said so! (;-D)

  • Uematsu helped in the soundttrack for XII,that's why some songs are so epic xD.

  • the undying was the first hard ff boss

  • vayne wants a hug!

  • Nice shoes douchebag

  • gabranth- battle took less than a minute

    vayne solidor- about the same

    vayne novus- decent length

the undying- aaah, so thats why the previous ones were so short

  • the last FF game that was good <3

  • @quizboy99 You mean 13. 14 online is just terrible.

  • i liked ff12 :) but after ff12 it went straight down =( 13 sucked so much that i wont buy the next games if they don't bring back the old fight systems :)

  • Vayne: Come on come give your ruler a hug.

Vaan: Aww I thought you would never ask. (Hugs)

Basch: hey can I join this manly hug.

Vayne: As ruler I hear by give you permission. (Basch hugs Vayne)

Vayne: See how were getting along now we can all forget that I am the reason Reks is dead and Basch is a called a traitor.

Vann and Basch: You son a bitch!! (final boss music starts playing).

  • @Disturber99

Oh and I'm assuming you beat him the first time around without looking up any game guide what-so-ever? Orphan was difficult until I found out the poison trick and I'm talking about Stage 1 not Stage 2 where it was incredibly easy

  • I play the game always wonder "What weapons he use?"

When the fight begin, he used his own fists. And me -> O_O He's to awesome to use weapons. True Story

  • I do really enjoy Vayne's character even though he was developed very little, he is laid back calm when he's talking or taking initiative instead of being an insane raving lunatic like other villains. (even though Kefka is the shit :D)

  • I love this game it's one of my top 5 in the series, the only problem I had with this game other than the license board was the proportion issues, EVERYONE'S FEET ARE TINY!

  • Should I hug him? or risk geting kicked in the balls with those shoes?

1.54 I got to do something, OH NO IM GOING INSANE, if I run he will kill me!

  • I want to know what happened to all the bosses who were actually as scary "looking" as they were in persona. The ones that actually seemed like they were as detailed in appearance as they were in their wicked, cunning behavior. Sephiroth, Kuja, Ultimecia, etc...

  • He has little feet O_O now I get why he went mad XD

  • I kinda lke this theme its kinda epic doesnt have that catchy theme but still gives you the epic feel

  • FUCKING SHOES O.O so ridiculous D:

  • Not the best final boss fight in the FF series but certainly one of the hardest (probably just under Orphan) I personally felt that Vayne had very little characterization. I thought Gabranth was the antagonist before the last hour of the game and that Vayne was just simply a coo-coo politician :P

  • @slycrg me too :P

  • @slycrg Uuuh, R u saying Orphan was difficult? Really?.... Orphan sucked balls, no offense man but if you had problems with Orphan then you must've fucked up badly somewhere.

  • @slycrg yet another reason I think gabranth is trying to copy darth vader

  • Final fantasy XII - Battle for freedom.

  • 13 is babies first rpg...

  • @korintor

And that has to do with XII... How?

  • @PaperRayman lol just sayin.

  • @korintor

II wasn't any better. And nobody talks shit about that game.

  • @korintor

Good sir, I believe you're talking about Final Fantasy Mystic Quest...

  • No feet. o_O

  • Wouldn't Vayne have been cooler than Gabranth to be in Dissidia?

  • Vayne solidor: Come give me a hug!!!! *rape face*

    Me: No way just die!!!!

  • to tell the truth the game wasn't horrible its just compared to all the other final fantasy games everyone played it sucks. fo one the eidolons were ships which pissed people off most probably but the style was completely different from the rest. all in all the game was good but they could have done way better with it

  • He looks like "Cristo Redentor" In Rio de Janeiro serach on google LOL its him =O

  • "For good and all, I shall bring your futile attempts at rebellion to an end"

  • I'd hug him.

  • @XxKelThuzadxX ohhh thaanks! I couldn't care less about what YOU think. I find it useless to discuss opinions about just a videogame, especially in this site. I don't like it, I have my reasons. Deal with it.

  • @neyuAudi All right. Although I do apologize, my first sentence did make it appear as if I was 'attacking' you in a sense. Sorry about that. And yes, I shouldn't attack someone's opinion, was late I believe when I posted that.

  • you know if someone has a nine minute boss theme there going to take forever to beat

  • @finalfantasykain

Not quite. The first 3 min is all cut scene Battle Begins at 3:12 XD

  • @anistaisha9 haven't gotten to him yet so i didn't know

  • Final Fantasy XII is pretty good if you like politics.

  • Look at his fucking shoes.

    No wonder he went insane.

  • @OverlordLS I fucking lol'd.

  • @OverlordLS fantastic comment

  • @OverlordLS He's got megaman feet!! D:

  • @OverlordLS LOL!!! thumbs up!

  • @OverlordLS HA!

  • @OverlordLS LMAO!!!

  • @OverlordLS He needed to find an equally insane blacksmith who would accept making them.

  • @OverlordLS He's got no goddamn foots!

  • @OverlordLS HHAHAHH i died at that comment hahahaha lmao

  • @OverlordLS epic comment, but I think it was an artist mistake, pretty sure it's sortof a double armor-flap over a regular boot

  • @bobmcbob49 And it is. (XD)

  • @OverlordLS It's optical illusion. (=p)

  • "Ivalice will know a new Dynast King, and Man will keep his own history! The tyranny of the Gods is ended!"

  • @36256564874847848487 That is totally a good guy line. Sucks he was pretty psycho towards the end

  • @Daecoth Tottaly agree.

  • Venat, come give me a hug!

  • *sigh* why is everyone here bitching about who is the most disturbed and megalomanic villain in the series ? All the games have good antagonists...

  • @TomDaxx ...and as for Vayne: his intentions were never noble or to be excused...he wanted to become the next dynast-king with cid's aid... he killed his father and older brother to do so... and in the end he wanted to kill the only kin he had left...how's that for a villain ?

  • In my opinion Final Fantasies 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13 have the best music of all time!!!!

  • it's funny how over time the final fantasy final bosses changed from epic monsters into overpowered humans.

  • @isamuokashii Vayne is the leader of Archadia. The true villain in FFXII is Venat.

  • @isamuokashii Actually it's been a blend of both. FFI, III, IV, V, IX, XIII and possibly some of the ones in XI and XIV are Epic Monsters as you call them, whereas the rest have been overpowered humans.

  • @isamuokashii

Venat was the powerful being that turned Vayne into the undying.

Besides, the final boss of FFXII wasn't an overpowered human. He was a God.

  • I think Vayne Solidor the least memorableTOP boss in final fantasy ever

  • Comment removed

  • Actually Uematsu isn't the best Final Fantasy composer as you made up to be.

The dude who composes music in Final Fantasy 12 has a calm music to it , which Uematsue lacks.

  • @laos85 HERESY "Throws holy water at @laos85"

  • No! No hug Vayne. No means NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol.

  • "Come give me a hug," is what his picture there seems to be saying.

  • @KizukuKanshi Vayne thinks to himself:"It will be the last thing you do." :)

  • @KizukuKanshi "Yes, come give me a huge, Van. I won't bite."

  • @KizukuKanshi his face look like he's gonna stab you when he hugs you

  • @KizukuKanshi

Vayne: let me cut you- I mean hug you, hugging is what I meant.

  • I love this song, the game is...okay. Story wise, it would have been better as a Suikoden. My only gripe with the music in 12 was that (like in 13) a lot of the tunes were based off the same theme, i.e. this one.

  • Isn't it odd that The Undying resembles Bahamut in a way...? and you fight him on the Sky Fortress Bahamut....

  • @Gridiron992 yea i notice that too after fighting him 2 times

  • the Duodecim ver. starts at 3:01 into the vid

  • I swear, I sometimes opened the menu to pause the game during the final battle just to listen to this song. xD

  • When you uploading Born Anew?

  • There was no true villain in FFXII that's why I love it so much

  • Is this guy on Dissidia Duodecim?

  • @frostare Sadly, no. And Vayne did not suck as a villain at all. He's one of the only good villains in the series. (Not directed towards Frostare, directed to stevieFFmaster)

  • venat, grant me the power of the undying.

  • @JudgeMagisterDelita agreed, he's more of the dark hero archtype of villain's as large part of his actions were to try to keep his younger brother larsa from going through what he went through growing up and to keep him from becoming anyones pawn heck the reason the senate and his father disliked him was because he wasn't a big pussy like his father was and would be no one's puppet (he and Venat were working and treated each other as equals)

  • He is like "hug, someone...?"

  • vayne (2nd form) would have been an awesome character to have in dissidia duo to he's floating swords and he's ends up being possesed by a god and in the actual FF12 i died to him XD

  • This picture.

    Me:Lol is this guy serious

    Vayne:Come at me bro

    *Vayne becomes a god*

    me:FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @mrSanxable No, Kefka is the only one to become a god. He would wipe this man from existence.

  • @neosyelk Sephirot become a god too. Ultimecia and Jecht are near to be, and Kuja too. Oh and Garland.

The final boss of final fantasy alwais are a god or someting....

  • @jamitil The Emperor in FF2 became a god as well and he was split by the rift to become a god AND a devil. So technically The Emperor is the only boss in FF to become both the devil and god at once.

  • @madnessdestructor2 Yes, i forgot him.

    sorry

  • @neosyelk Indeed it was true, Sephiroth could care less to be a god, he just wanted to create the ultimate spell to destroy the world so he could be like Jenova. I don't really get how that was even an interesting idea but it seemed to work since it was the first 3d game and now everyone is obsessed with it even still today. 6 never got a chance.

  • @neosyelk Emperor Mateus Became god of hell and heaven in ff2. And kefka could kill him easy but i think only Exdeath was capable of wipeing people from existance.

  • @mrSanxable Kefka actually made almost everyone extinct though... there were few left in the wasteland of the world. He was smiting people with the power of god's light....

  • @mrSanxable

    He ain't even mad.

  • LOL my mistake Kefka isn't the worst FF villian Vayne is completely forgot about this guy... wait is he even a villian?

  • @Bundyrumowns How is Kefka the worst villain? I think he is one of the best villains.

  • @Bundyrumowns

Not knowing where you sit with an antagonist is a prominent factor of a great storyline.

You didn't really know if he was good or evil, because the plot was made to be politically unstable.

Truly a game for those who love to both play and think about the storyline for themselves.

  • @Bundyrumowns lets just pretend cid was the main villian, god knows hes the only one that does anything.

  • Why wasnt Vayne in Dissidia?! Emperor Vayne vs The Emperor would be so hilarious, both commanding for the other to bow down to them, then the emperor totally beating the crap out of Vayne. That would be sick!

  • @SephaSora

I figure that he would be sorta like Gabranth. Having weak, half assed attacks in his normal state, but scary, deadly, fucking beastly annihilation attacks in his unmatched Bahamut EX mode.

  • @BertMcracken08 Yeah probobly

  • Well. I do not think Vayne really was the "boss" It was the boss. If you think about it, he -was- becoming more and more corrupt. He was originally doing things for his country's power, then for his own. At the very end the creature spirit that was around him took him over did it not? Then he merged with the Tower, perhaps the reason he was so easy to beat was because the creature did not realize how old it had gotten. Vayne was not a villain look at it from his countries perspective.

  • @MrYouchimitchu Hmm, that reads far more confusingly then I had hoped. Well, still Vayne was not really a villain till the very end while under the Influence of the creature who's name I cannot remember.

  • What the hell is wrong with his boots?

  • @LossOfEternal Well, there IS armour over the entire front of his legs. Of course it's gonna obscure his footwear.

  • @LossOfEternal Everybody on the game who wear boots has boots like that. I think it's the game's style.

  • most underrated villain ever........he was for sure the best character of 12 with cid in second place , but in my opinion is one of the best with sephiroth, kuja and kefka.....the thing that really suck of 12 are the good character with some exception

  • @seraphsix Agreed, Vayne was an impressive villain, but so few people see it. Apparently sophistication and actual realistic motivations and goals are a bad thing in a villain, instead people want villains like Seymour from Final Fantasy X, in other words Villains so obvious that you can see them from a mile away.

  • @DenarianLord probably cause a lot of people hate to use their brain.........brainless villains for brainless player lol

  • @DenarianLord I entirely agree. Throughout the elaborated plot, Vayne was slowly becoming corrupted through power. You actually got to see the phase from a well respected man into a monster. At least that's what I see. I thought the sophistication behind him was his strongest and most admirable characteristic, and not just to mention, THIS SONG KICKS ASS!

  • @DenarianLord I entirely agree. Throughout the elaborated plot, you got to see the phase from a well-respected man into a monster. I thought his sophistication was the most strongest and admirable characteristic that was presented in a way were no other villians could meet, and also to mention as a side note, THIS SONG KICKS ASS!

  • i got halfway throguh fighting him and turned off the ps2 and havent been arsed to do it since way i see it ive killed yiazmat, omega and got all espers so nothing elses left

  • @Drpissed ...If you killed Yiazmat and Omega, then why stop at Vayne? He's cake by comparison; you'd've taken him down, no problem.

  • @TheHeroHartmut i know but i think i had to go out or something and turned it off halfway through the fight and just never found the urge to power it back up and kick his arse

  • Boring boss fight for a boring game.

  • I did not expect vayne to go super kefka broly mode on me at the end. Simply one of the most wellworthy final boss fights I've experienced.

  • @stevieFFmaster it kind-of makes sense for him to use Bahamut's attacks seeing how he "merged" with the Sky Fortress Bahamut.

  • 6 people cant beat God Vayne

  • 6 people derpity derp derp.

  • It seems that 6 people got impaled by Vayne the Undying's Gigaflare Sword and discovered youtube in the afterlife.

  • 6 people disliked to make the likes the square of the dislikes

...wait, am I the only one who does that?

  • epicness reset: 0:00 - 8:53

  • i dont know why but doesnt vaynes voice sound like neros voice from FF7 DOC

  • 5 people were too weak to beat Vayne.

  • Incredible soundtrack. :-)

  • What is the name of this theme? I'm sorry, I knew but I forgot and I can't find it anymore. Please.

  • @lucastecchio OK, I remembered, it'sThe Battle for Freedom, right?

  • hmm...this final boss theme just doenst no match with a FF final battle theme...please people of square what the hell where you thinking!!...at least you could get a phone a contact someone else who has experience with rpg

    for example

Mr Square enix ´president: hmm hi Mr Motoi Sakuraba ehm...look i was thinking if you perhaps can....be....the master mind behind....ehmm...FF XII music?...

    ¬¬U

  • @DevilSoma - It actually fits quite well with FF Tactics battle themes. In fact, I believe I hear some of FFT's final battle theme in this.

It makes sense, since FFT and XII happen in the same world.

  • @AerialMan wrong!...the world´s name is the same and somethings may be the same too but the story happens in diferent universes same with Vagrants Story

  • @DevilSoma - Not true. The entire Ivalice Alliance, including FFT, VS, and anything else released before FFXII is all in the same world. They even released a timeline once upon a time.

The only ones that would be arguable are FFT and FFTA2, since they are inconsistent with the flow of time.

  • @AerialMan got cha but i still dont like is so not FF music and dont come to me with the is the same world argument....just does not match with Nobuo Uematsu style and a lot of people agree with me.

even th game the firts time i played it just can´t stop thinking that was a failed try to make the gameplay more dinamic like (for example) the "tales of..." Series

  • @DevilSoma - ...what? I can't comprehend your post, dude. But I'll try:

It is FF music, since it's in FF. Maybe not in the same style as older ones, but it's still FF. As for the same world argument...they are the same world, and it's not like FFT's music sounded anything like other FF games music either.

  • @AerialMan i was talking about the music style and then maybe i was confused with another post somewhere Lol about the music and Ivalice and the...mixed up LOL

oh yeah at the end i mixed up againg with another post talking about the gameplay of FFXII

  • @DevilSoma - As for comparing Uematsu's music to Sakimoto or Hamauzu's music, well, no duh there are people that will agree with you, but there are also others who like one of the other composers as well, or even all three.

And the "Tales" thing...good for you?

  • final fantasy XII music it's simply boring and with no personality -_- as well as the plot line

  • @neyuAudi I believe you are thinking of 13 sir. Yep. Definitely 13.

  • @neyuAudi

    You mean too political?

  • @Myth3842 The political intrigue was the best part of FFXII.

  • @CronoManiac42

And the music, massive exploration and side quests. It's a nice change from the typical romance plot.

  • @Myth3842 FF relay doesnt have as much romance as people built it up to, what FF7-X and thats about it, 12-2 had some with vaan and penelo i remember they kissed at some point in the very end but i never got tht bfar cause some boss's are ridiculously hard at the end, and 13 technicly had some with snow and serah but thats it for pretty much every FF including spin offs.

  • @jsh020 FF 8 had TWO romances and a love song on disk three!

  • @Linky64V2 well remmeber FF8's twist was none of that never even happened, and squall and rinnoa knew eachother for like 2 hours before he dies. sorelay those romances are invalid

  • @jsh020 You seem to be basing whatever argument you're making off the "Squall's Dead" theory. There's still no strong evidence of that even being true in the game. I understand how someone could come up with it after playing it though.

  • @robokou its pretty much been confirmed that both theorys were true from the creators, either way 8 was a mess but theres somthing about it that doesnt make it awful

  • @jsh020 Both theories are true, huh? If possible, could you direct me to a place where I could confirm this? From my interpretation, Squall was only dead in a world where Ultimecia still existed.

  • @robokou wait whats that theory, im tlaking about the one where ultimecia takes over rinnoa after you beat edea. rememebr how she passes out and shit. either way if any are true that game sill was a total fuck up. and people try to defend its better than 13 which i call BS on

  • @neyuAudi Don't know if someone hasn't responded to how wrong you are. But here it is. Simply boring eh? Vayne one of the villains in the FF series with actual realistic human motivations. That is what people want, sure supernatural omfgorgasmic people are kickass in their own right, but Vayne had the most personality out of most FF bosses I've seen, merely because he's really just human with human emotions. As well as this piece of music, it's terrifically wonderful.

  • @XxKelThuzadxX That may be so, but 12 was terrible.

  • @Benchimusprime Not just terrible, but also the worst in the series.

  • @alvinkwan89 Hmmm, I would have agreed with you until last year when 13 came out. As bad as 12 was, I was at least able to make myself play it enough to finish it. That is more than I can say about 13. I put about 15 hours into that game and I just couldnt play any longer. Boring story, lame gameplay, and I wanted nothing more than to see all the characters die, especially Snow and Vanille.

  • @Benchimusprime I actually liked 12, it was a breath of fresh air after that pile of horse vomit FFX, that game was so fucking linear that I wasn't at any moment in the story even interested in what characters were saying (and coupled with the fact that you couldn't skip the damn cutscenes made it a living hell). At least in FFXII it's fucking open and it has a cool new battle system that was new and interesting. The story also improved, it was a bit random at times but at least it drew you in.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo couldn't agree more. Though i kinda enjoy playing FFX (not the story its bollocks)

  • @Disturber99 yeah, the battle system is what really shines in that pile of turds, the music is also top notch as well, you just can't beat Nobuo Uematsu, too bad they couldn't get Nobuo for FFXII, oh well the soundtrack for FFXII is still good.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo Finally someone else agrees with me that FFX was ass.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo Sorry I disagree with you on FFX but I'm not gonna argue. The storyline was enjoyable. But I can say FXIII is the worst out of all FF games. That game was extremely linear. The storylime from that game didn't grasp me at all. Plus the gameplay was so difficult -_- FXII was good even though I never finished it since I lost the game ._.
