its about a prostitute - "alabaster call girl". its about people finding out that she's a call girl-"Your secret's sleeping in" this she doesnt realize, which is why it say she "sometimes wonders
Why the crowds all stare". When he says "we are magicians" i think it means they live their lives entertaining people. it also says "and suddenly the curtain falls" which is a phrase that generally means the end of something. i'm not sure but i think it means she kills herself.
