I am all for informing children on the dangers of drugs, but if you completly exagerate it to the point where it is borderline lying when the childern hit there teenage years they would do something stupid like take heroin because they think it's just as bad as marijana.

no one has ever died from smoking weed. all the other drugs you can die on, you can die from drinking and thats legal? you can die from tobacco and thats also legal.

Adam292, the damage to one's lungs that 3 joints inflict are equal to 20 regular cigarettes. When tobacco and cannabis are mixed the effect is exponentially worse. Alcohol and cigarettes are of course toxic but that doesn't mean another poison should be legalized.

You are reasonably correct in the above statistic, all studies I've seen do indicate more damage done by a joint than a cigarette

Fact is however that new technology; vapourisers mean no lung damage from marijuana as you simply breathe in the vapourised THC, also you can eat marijuana.

In any case, is someone being silly enough to damage their health worth wasting police time on? Do people deserve to be arrested? No.

i never said it should be smoked with tobacco did i? weed isnt as bad for you as tobacco it has no links with cancer. i wouldnt be making this argument at all if the government made all intoxicating substances illegal (including alcohol and tobacco) because then the laws would make sense.

thats a load of rubbish there are people who have died from drinking waaaay waaay to much water, so you cannot say that NO ONE has died from smoking weed, however there are arguments to legalise weed as there is some evidence that it does less damage to you than cigarrtes and alcohol, however it remains illegal due to its hallucinigenic affects on the mind, which are much stronger then any possible effects of alchohol meaning that you are more likely to do harm to yourself or others around you.

of course i can say that no one has died from smoking weed. because its impossible to overdose on thc? i've smoked alot of weed and i've never come close to tripping i dont know why people associate the "drug" as a hallucinogenic. also cigarettes do nothing to you apart from increase your risk of cancer. when your stoned you dont want to hurt yourself or other people whatsoever get your facts right.
